I found this little fishing venue whilst on holiday. I caught a nice selection of small to medium carp. The float only" rule made catching these fish great fun."

Top marks, stayed for a week through work and the landlady, Sandra, couldn't do enough for us. Home cooked meals each night, comfy beds, immaculately clean. Can't fault a single thing!

Absolutely love this place. The fishing is brilliant and Ron is more than happy to help with advice. Sandra is a fantastic hostess and the food is good and hearty. A fabulous cook. And lots of it!

Didn't fish just visited the tackle shop on site. Standard tackle shop with everything you'd expect them to stock. Very dark inside as no lights? Off the beaten track too so no good for passing trade, you have to make the effort to go. Shame they closed the shop in hornsea but a lot have closed there too. Will make sure I take extra bait with me next time I visit the area so I don't have to make a special trip to the shop.

Fantastic fishing stuffed with carp ide skimmers and some big tench in the main pond if you like barbel full of them in the canal pond also alot of small tench
