food was amazingly delicious, my vegan/vegetarian lentil pie might have been the best thing i’ve ever eaten. there were also a group of fiddlers playing traditional music, a lovely bonus for a sunday.

Amazing food and atmosphere! The steak pie was absolutely delicious, big portion size as well! My friends also got fish & chips and nachos which were both 10/10!The menu has a good selection of food, the place itself is very cosy with gorgeous interior, really appreciate the music playing in the background as well. Definitely recommend this to anyone who prefers a quieter pub, can’t wait to try more things on the menu!

Every Sunday just for the music and every other night too because it's a great pub with excellent staff. Food is good and the pints are terrific.

Gorgeous pub in an opulent old bank. Lots of marble, dark wood and brass. High tables and back nooks, large bar with lots of great ales on tap. If you want high quality traditional Scottish food, this is the place!

Visited Glasgow in September, and was looking for a place that had a robust menu to please all the people in our ensemble. Drum and Monkey was delicious, and we hit them for an early lunch, so it wasn't pack. Place was clean, staff was friendly, food was good. Had a steak and ale pie - which was good, though not outstanding - and enjoyed the Innis and Gunn beer. Lovely old building. Definitely a good little spot if you're looking for hot food and good service.

Booked for Sunday roast, no roast available at 12.45pm.In fact this was the theme of the day... Three rums out of stock/no fish platter/no steak and ale pie/small selection of soft drinks available. Really frustrating as building is lovely but that's the only thing in this experience that was.As you order all from table, on the app, it got increasingly frustrating what food or drink was available. So we voted with our feet and went to the Duck and Umbrella - close by def recommend that!Don't go to the Drum and Monkey till it can sort its stock issue out.

My first time in Scotland and I chose this place to try Haggis, neeps and tatties as well as the sticky toffee pudding. The haggis was good, but it is not something I would go back for. The sticky toffee pudding was incredibly sweet, I wish I could've liked it more, but it was not bad! Food was overall good. I'm sure their other dishes are amazing here, hope to come back again someday!
