Gem's Dance Academy

My foster daughter has been attending the dance academy for the last 2 years and her experience so far has been amazing. My daughter has learning and physical disabilities but Gemma and the other coaches adapt the dances and make sure that she is able to participate. She has been involved in competitions (where she came first) and exams something we never thought she'd have the confidence to do. Her dancing ability has improved but more than that her confidence, self esteem and her self belief has grown immeasurably. We are so grateful to Gemma and the rest of the team. What a fantastic dance family to be a part of ❤️❤️❤️

My daughter started her 18 months ago. She was very shy and unsociable! She settled almost immediately and has since joined every class.She is now so confident an improving every week.Shes passed exams and competed and won trophies at competitions. She loves dance an this school. Teachers are great very welcoming and supportive to all kids. Its a lovely atmosphere. My other children have joined classes to.Thank you x

Both my daughters have been dancing at this dance school for the past ten years now and love it. They have taken part in exams annually,competitions and have danced at Wembley, Alton towers and Silverstone. Opportunities that wouldn't have had if not at this dance school.Dance teachers are all friendly and help each child to reach their potential in all areas of dance.It's more than a dance school but a dance family children all support one another no matter what their age.

I have taught at this school for about 5 years and have throughly enjoyed seeing how the schools brings out the best in everyone and helps them to grow in confidence. It is a very inclusive school and has had a lot of experience in working with children who have additional needs. Gemma (the principal) offers the children many opportunities to develop their dance education by entering them into IDTA exams and and giving them the chance to compete at a regional and national level. She also ensures she gives the children the opportunity to perform in places such as Wembley Stadium and Disney Land Paris.

Our Grandaughter Lily was just 3 when she started ballet she loved it from day 1. All of the staff are so kind to the children and firm but gentle when directing them. She took her first exam after 6 months and passed with flying colours. She is 4 now and absolutely loves coming here. Highly reccomend especially if your child is very young or maybe a but shy. Reasonable class prices too in my view.

My autistic daughter first started at Gems Dance Academy in the acro class just over a year ago and was initially extremely shy and lacking in confidence. From the first moment we walked through the door we were made to feel welcome and within a very short amount of time we could see the progress she was making, both in her dance and in her confidence, so much so that she now takes part in yet more classes, competitions, exams and a recent show. She struggles so much at school but really thrives at Gems. Finally, a special shout out to Sarah who was our first impression of this dance school and has always been brilliant!

My grandchildren attend this dance school. All i can say is how amazing its been for all of them. Im so proud of what they have achieved. They have passed all exams ive been to presentation evenings and seen how much they have learnt. Recently we went to watch the whole school show an i loved seeing how well my grandchildren are doing.I cant praise them enough all teacher are very talented an supportive. All other staff are lovely to. The kids all support each other in everything they do.So glad my grandchildren are part of this dance family.
