The Carlyon Bay Hotel
This is the 3rd time of visiting this hotel and each time the service has been better. I could not find any fault with the hotel and the food was fantastic. The time in between each course was perfectly judged and the waiters and waitresses were very attentive. The hotel also benefits from a range of activities and its closeness to the beach. It has its own par 3 9 hole course and a full 18 hole course which has some terrific fairways and views. Brilliant for a week’s holiday in the UK.

I got married at the Carlyon Bay Hotel last weekend, and had the perfect day.The service at the hotel is outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and every person from the receptionists, the bar staff, the servers and the hotel manager Ali were so polite and kind to me and all our guests. The food was incredible - they have a large range of local produce, and lots of choices for veggies/vegans.The grounds outside are perfectly kept which made for the most beautiful background for our outdoor wedding.Thank you so much to everyone at the Carlyon Bay Hotel for such a special day!

Lovely spa morning. All modern and clean facilities. Sauna, steam room, Jacuzzi and swimming pool. Plenty of space and seating. We used the restaurant after and the service was great and the food was lovely and very reasonably priced.

Lovely hotel. The dining area and bar is beautiful. Food is lovely. We had a sea view room. Sadly it needs updating and no air con so it was super hot. We couldn't have the windows open due to the storm and made everything creek. Fan was provided but sadly was still too warm. When we told reception , staff said not all rooms have air con as it is an old building.Beautiful spa facilities. It's a shame they didn't make it bigger so that have room for more chairs around the pool to relax. Outdoor pool was lovely and warm and great to sit around if the weather is decent.Very clean hotel and lovely touch to put flower petals in our room for our anniversary.

Fantastic stay, rooms were well presented and the facilities were excellent including spa, two restaurants and a bar/lounge. Golf course was also free too. Food and menu had a local flavour with locally sourced produce and was tasty. Easy access to coastal path and Carlyon Bay. Reasonable walk to Charlestown Harbour too.

Great place to stay, the staff are polite, friendly and courteous. Great views from the hotel (depending on room). Food is copious, Great variety, well presented and delicious. Excellent beach close by, an Old harbour bit further, but both walking distance. The only downside is the room could do with a better-stocked fridge and air conditioning as it can get quite stuffy on hotter days.

I often pop in here for coffee and cakes on my daily coast path walk. The service is always exceptional the surrounding beautiful inside and out with wonderful well kept gardens and sea views. A little piece of unrivalled opulence in my day.

Quite easy to find but very limited on parking, did have to park along the road but not too much of an issue. The room could do with a smidge more attention - chips in the bath and stains on the curtains but nothing major and certainly served their purpose! The golf and tennis was enjoyable as well and the spa was absolutely amazing! Had a facial and definitely noticed a difference in my skin when I left.Didn't have dinner there but restaurant definitely served fish!
