Llesiant Delta Wellbeing

Essentially this service just calls an ambulance on your behalf. 9 times out of 10 this is a waste of emergency services time as the service expectation is that Delta Wellbeing should send its staff to assist and assess those they are supposed to be caring for.

Many thanks to the Delta team for replacing my father's lifeline within half an hour of my reporting the faulty device. My father has been able to live independently with the care and support provided by Delta. Your dedication and understanding is very much appreciated. Diolch i bawb am eich cefnogaeth.

Delta should not call them self's Well Being, i was left on Saturday night after pressing my buzzer for help, lady said she would send Paramedics, and never stayed on phone with me, she was suposed to phone my son, seems they tried once , he was in shower and it just came up as a private number, they did not try again, when the Paramedic phoned he said , i did not need them to come out and gave me the out of hours number, as i found out later they had just been told i had some pain, i was screaming in pain, it turned out i had a raging infection in my foot which was traveling up my leg, my foot was swollen and the swelling was half way up my leg, it took me 8 hours to get help, so what am i paying £18 .72 a month for, just for them to make one phone call, think before you give them your money, they are not all they make out to be

Delta were my first point of call when my mother was discharged from hospital with terminal cancer. The lady that I spoke to (Laura) was very reassuring, and it was obvious that she genuinely cared about the welfare of both my mum and myself. We agreed on the best way forward and my mum is now settled at home, living as independently as possible. Thank you Delta Wellbeing

Answerphone message, after working my way through pushbutton menu to option 4,stated the number to be an ' out of hrs emergency nr only,ring cc council within office hrs'. Same message,regardless of what time of day!?- not helpful to people less assertive than me,who might just give up...carer.s card applied for weeks ago,still not arrived..
