The Vocal Academy Bristol Singing Lessons

My daughter came for singing lessons at The Vocal Academy. The teacher Lu was great with her and she really enjoyed her lessons. It was even nicer that the lessons took place in real music studios. Would recommend to anyone interested in singing.

My lessons with Bernii have improved my singing abilities and have made me more conscious of technique and how it affects my voice as well as my singing style and what I am capable of. Bernii is very supportive, makes you feel at ease and not afraid to try different things to stretch your abilities and help you grow as a singer. As well as the more serious stuff the lessons are fun, enjoyable and I always look forward to them.

Lu has been great for my confidence and helped me develop my singing in many ways. She's so friendly and I thoroughly enjoy my lessons. I would really recommend The Vocal Academy.

Bernii is my singing teacher at the Vocal Academy and she is fantastic! I recently finished my training at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts and I needed help recording my song reel. Bernii helped develop my singing to a high professional standard. Also, Bernii helped me find my pop voice!! Which I find difficult as I've trained in musical theatre for over 7 years and never sung pop before. I recommend Bernii highly for singing lessons, especially if you're looking to sing professionally!! Thank you Bernii x

My 9 year old daughter Halle has one to one singing lessons every Friday with Katie. She absolutely loves it.from day one she was made to feel very welcome and soon stoped feeling nervous. It’s a lovely relaxed environment and incredibly friendly. Halle has come on leaps and bounds and looks forward to every Friday lesson. Very friendly very professional. Would highly recommend. I recently started singing lessons with Bernii and I’ve learnt so much.My throat used to hurt and get tired after singing. I had an hour and a half lesson yesterday, and after singing Sia songs which require a LOT of power, I realised my throat didn’t hurt at all, because of the really useful techniques Bernii had taught me.Another thing Bernii helped me with was my falsetto voice, which had previously been too quiet. I can now make it as powerful as my chest voice.She’s so tolerant and understanding, and very kind, and I’ve enjoyed every moment of learning with her!

My daughter has recently started singing with Lu and my daughter's confidence has grown from day one. Lu has pushed my daughter to try things that would be out of her comfort zone. I cannot express enough how much Lu has done for my daughter. Her singing ability has come on amazingly. Her vocal range has improved and our house is no longer a quiet house because she is constantly singing, which is a lovely thing.I would have no problem in recommending Lu to anybody. The studios are well presented and you are welcomed in straight away and made to feel as part of the team. If you have a love of music and singing then definitely come and see Lu and see for yourself how amazing she truly is

I couldn't recommend Lu highly enough! I started doing backing vocals with my band and needed help with my vocals, not only has Lu improved the quality of my voice and technique but also my confidence. She's a great teacher with good all round experience and makes each session fun and enjoyable!

I've had 5 lessons with Lu at the vocal academy and I've enjoyed every one. I had never had singing lessons before and I usually sing in a choir so singing 1 to 1 was very different but Lu quickly put me at ease with her confidence and enthusiasm and I can definitely hear big changes in my voice. I highly recommend coming to the Vocal academy if you are new to singing or just need to refine your technique and tone.

I have learnt so much about my voice and singing professionally from my teacher Bernii. The lessons are really fun and I feel very comfortable singing in front of her. I haven’t been at the academy long, however I already have a gig lined up that I am practising for in and out of lessons. I can’t recommend more, I look forward to my lessons.
