As a conference center it is fantastic. With a full range of options available. The main Hall can also be used for weddings and other private events and looks stunning. The courtyard is also a local.gathering point with coffees served outside and a range of stalls selling local wares.

Brilliant venue whether the Gallery with different local artists, crafters or producers each week. Coffee mornings, classes or venue for private hire, weddings etc.

Exhibition space rented out by the week. Some exhibitions are very good (eg The Square Pegs, currently exhibiting) and carefully curated. Other organisers include anyone who will pay a table fee. Some weeks it is rented by just one artist. Take a look, if it's rubbish one week don't write it off, check another week - it could be great.

Nothing better than sitting down with nice cup of coffee at centre of cardigan , people have been doing it for over 140years , i do think that old rule should come back , no kids to sit on benches till after 4pm.

What a great evening! In Cardigan for the annual lantern parade and to see the Square Pegs show at the Guildhall, a great space for local artists and makers to showcase their considerable talents. Outside the lanterns made by the local community at Small World theatre's workshops were majestic and were a further demonstration of this town's creative credentials. Sorry if you missed the parade but you still have another week to catch Square Pegs and get yourself some fabulous one off Christmas gifts.

Old dinosaur councillors are deliberately destroying Cardigan by not letting any new large businesses come to Cardigan, ie bowling alleys, Argos, Matilan, they have prehistoric views and own most of the shops so the councillors don’t want there profits interfered with.

Good range of stalls in the Guildhall courtyard and shops in adjacent Canolfan Teifi. Many of these formerly situated in the Guildhall Market Hall directly behind the courtyard. Most of these will be back inside the Market Hall (which is currently being renovated) later in 2023. Update November 2023: will probably be Spring 2024 before it reopens.

A visit to the Guildhall and the Market and Cafe was lovely earlier this year when we were on holiday in Aberteifi. We bought a hand crafted item from here and had a snack at Cillas cafe upstairs. Lots of unusual things to see, and books to buy. We had a great time. Well worth having a look around and at the fabric stall as well.
