Kooks Restaurant
We waited quite a bit to order, even if the place was not that full. We had to stand up and call the waiters a couple of time, even to pay.Food was ok.

Very pleasantly surprised. I loved my mini breakfast, everything in it was cooked perfectly. I had a milkshake as they use ice cream and it was very nice (although would have loved it a bit colder). Service (Tom?) was friendly and efficient. (A negative was watching a female member of staff roll her next fag at the bar...) Would eat here again when in Brighton

This is a lovely restaurant with great food and atmosphere! I am only giving a three star as firstly, they asked if I wanted chips with my meal and didn’t mention the price (£4)! Secondly, the chargrilled butternut squash salad bowl that my friend ordered was mostly salad with not much filling. Overall I hope they take this into consideration.

Came to Brighton for a date day and seeked shelter from the drizzle in this cute little spot.Food looks delicious. We had some dirty fries would recommend!We were served by Carly super friendly and welcoming! She also does a killer espresso martini. Would reccomend!thank you guys!

I went here with my friend while we were visiting Brighton, it was so good, I took my son there two days later. The manager remembered me and was so nice. Even though it was very busy, our food came before they said it would. It was well presented and tasted amazing yet again. Everything was so fresh and full of flavour. The staff are great, friendly and professional. When I'm in Brighton again I will definitely be eating here again.

We didn’t order any food. We ordered 2 Cappuccino’s and a latte. It’s was good! And love the friendly staffs. I want to go back there and try there food.

So disappointed with lunch at Kooks. Service was awful. Took 3 times of asking before they took our order, when the food arrived it was luke warm. When we asked for sauces it seemed a real inconvenience and they had the cheek to add 10% service charge to the bill. It’s such a shame as it used to be great but it’s really gone down hill

We just had our running club christmas party at Kooks and wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone, especially Amy and Becky and the chefs, for making it an incredible evening. The food was delicious and plentiful, the drinks were tasty, and it's a super cute venue! I'd definitely recommend it for a private party. Thanks again! :)

Lovely find in the Lanes in Brighton, we were on the hunt for a good breakfast after being at an event the night before.We happened across this place and was very impressed by the coffee and breakfasts on offer.We ordered 4 of the cooked breakfasts and coffees and juices.There was a short wait on the food, but when it came out, looked fantastic.Most of the ingredients were locally sourced and cooked fresh there and then with spot on poached eggs.The cafe was very clean and looked very on trend with friendly helpful staff on hand.We will definitely return when visiting Brighton again.

We have been there for brunch and had eggs royale and eggs Benedict, so I really enjoyed eggs Benedict, bacon was more like pulled pork, really delicious! My partner enjoyed eggs Royale a little less, just he did not like salmon that much, but overall we were happy. Very tasty coffee!
