Chapeltown Post Office

Absolutely terrible woman on the counter this morning. Didn't understand how anything worked, couldn't find anything, clearly had a problem with her eyes and couldn't see anything ! Spoke to the owner who was very nice, but please please please get some good staff !

Very nice and helpful staff, always a pleasant experience to drop something off for a delivery or return.

Terrible service. All I wanted to do was deposit a cheque after queuing for almost 20 minutes. I was told to return after another 10 minutes. Disgusting.

Dont try phoning this post office for any help or advice! The phone rings then a screeching noise follows.You never get a person to answer.Would have given zero stars tbh

Nice people poor understanding of how the PO works.30 mins to post a parcel because I was overcharged. PARCEL damaged following pick and contents ruined. When asked on two different occasions if they could help me find the tracking number they didn't know how. Asking me to return for a third time.Made a new present tried to post next day delivery. Paid extra money for Saturday delivery. Parcel force said wrong code inputted. Not delivered on time. Made me wait for nearly an hour whilst serving other customers. Waited patiently.Only when I raised my voice did they respond and then despite their poor service blamed me for getting angry.Left the shop with my Saturday delivery cost refunded and no tracking number. Such a disappointing level of service. Would not recommend

Yesterday all I wanted was a postal order & I just needed help doing it as I’d never done one. The staff wasn’t very helpful at all, it took nearly an hour to get sorted. Everyone else was getting served and I was being pushed to back. It caused me to be very stressed out when all I wanted is something simple doing. Terrible service received.

Been going in here for a few years, I find the staff incredibly friendly and helpful
