Originally a very good price, friendly and easy to arrange. Unfortunately the damp came back right next to where they stopped the damp proof, which meant all the work re-decorating the wall had to be redone. They blamed the fact I used a paint that was not breathable enough - but never advised which paint to use in the first place (note: the paint was not a vinyl-based paint and spec sheet said it was highly breathable). I was disappointed with the fact they did not take any responsibility and I had to negotiate quite hard before I was satisfied with a resolution. I would only recommend if you are very clear with what needs to be done, document everything, and be sure to ask in writing what paints and materials they recommend. If everything goes well, they do a great job at a very reasonable price. If something goes wrong, you may be out of pocket quite a bit more as was the case with me.

I recently purchased a property that had used Johnson Ellis for some damping work and was charged in order to transfer the guarantee in to my name. Ever since then i have not been able to contact them in any way, they ignore my calls, emails even FB posts. Definitely not an ethical business in my book. Would recommend you steer clear.
