Unprofessional organisation who would initially take on customers and the once time to commit yo worlk they would be too busy. I will lose 10k grant beacuse of their Unprofessional people.The director Clayton Raymond dont give a damn. Please do not contact them as theae guys are extremely poor at their service.

So first up, I think that the CB staff are great! I would give them ten stars if I could – for the sales, admin and technical staff in the office, as well as for the staff who come on outcalls to your house. Very friendly, nice people and professional. Top marks. I also (through work) know other people in the heat pump industry in the UK and they always say that Clayton Brown (the founder of this company) is one of the best people in the sector.There is a national shortage of skilled heat pump installers and the Government doesn’t make it easy, by having incentive schemes that start and stop, causing large peaks and troughs in demand. One of those peaks was in the first quarter of 2022, before a grant scheme ran out. I was lucky enough to get on the waiting list in time, and CB fitted my heat pump in Feb 2022. I know that CB has a training academy for people wanting to join the industry, but they also have to use contractors at peak times, which is understandable, and without them, I probably wouldn’t have had the heat pump fitted with the generous Government grant at the time. The contractors though weren’t such good quality, and made several mistakes which the CB team had to come back and rectify (which they successfully did, over several visits).CB fitted a Daikin heat pump, alongside a Mixergy hot water cylinder. At my request, they also fitted a Solar iBoost unit, so that my hot water is pretty much 100% heated by my PV in the summer. All these work well, and I would recommend using the Mixergy tank over the Daikin one as the user interface is light years ahead, both via the control device on the tank, and via the app. Plus Mixergy is a cool British company . However I’m not convinced by the Daikin heat pump; they are the market leader, but the information they give to users is terrible (you may as well throw away the tiny manual they supply), and the initial set-up default settings made the unit much more inefficient, until they were ironed out one-by-one by me and CB. I don’t know if other suppliers are better, but if I was to buy another heat pump, I would certainly look at alternatives to Daikin.

Be aware!! Waste my 10k voucher from GHG they provide quote and survey done by engineer but just before the the scheme closing date they refused to go head with my work no reason given and we can’t change the installer now from GHG now as scheme is closed

Absolutely disgusting company, they come and fit me a heat pump system last year and iv had nothing but problems with it, it definitely saves me on gas and electricity as it never works, I also have children that freeze in the winter. They come out fix a wire then it goes wrong again. I wish I never had it fitted nothing but hassle. If the thermostat cuts off again they can come and take it all out robbing *****

Ended up not going with their quote, but Neel was courteous, patient and knowledgeable throughout the quoting process.

Having got to know CB Heating Ltd I must admit they are such a lovely business.I run my own business and take care of all my clients like they are my own and you rarely meet people with the same business model.Worth a call most definitely.

If you need a heat pump, these are the go to people. We have a new build house and recommend by our architect to go heat pump technology, if you are anything like me, you can read all you like as everyone has an opinion. I'm glad I found CB heating as they are knowledgeable from provisions being made in the early stages, right through to installation and commissioning.I can confidently recommend CB as they see the whole job through unlike many other heat pump suppliers who didn't include wiring into the quote.

We were left high and dry with young kids during the freezing winter when CBH failed to meet their own timelines. Little accountability until I posted under the MD Clayton Brownes LinkedIn account, who responded by blocking me!! Also had to pay £1000‘s extra for supply and prep of a pipe that was not specified during sales process, we were already forking out £15k by that point. By far the least professional and least competent company we had to endure out of all the tradespeople we came across during a pretty large and complex extension project, nothing but stress. Daikin (heat pump manufacturer) on the other hand were very good, they had to come and investigate how CBH’s installers had botched the post-install checks - a minor blockage that they sorted out quickly but meant we had no heating for weeks, with CBH initially trying to blame my builders, truly awful response and telling us that the installers had checked everything was working and “signed off” without us being present - is that even legal? In the end, weeks later, we had a working system and CBH did EVENTUALLY pay the invoice for Daikin call out.

Incredibly disappointed with the service we have received after paying this company to fit a new air source heat pump worth £15k. The subcontracted plumbers and engineer came last week and have unfortunately left without completing the job. We only have heating working upstairs not down, we have young children in the house and the temperatures are now dropping. We have rung CB heating several times about this but have either not been able to speak to anyone or the person we’ve spoken to has not been able to help us.So we’ve needed to leave this review in the hope that someone from the company contacts us and deals with our issue so that we don’t fully regret trusting this company to fit an expensive heating system in our family home.

We haven’t quite completed everything with CB heating yet but I am so impressed with their customer support team, particularly Kayleigh. She is just an absolutely pleasure to deal with and goes above and beyond to help. The designs seem very professional. Perhaps a slightly young company therefore process is a little fragmented between departments (e.g sales and design) but seem to have the right direction. So far, really happy and a big thank you to Kayleigh for her help and support in getting things sorted.
