I purchased an almost new Toyota Yaris Cross from Broad Lane Motors a few months ago. The car had been a Cat S rightoff but had been repaired to near mint condition. Shakeel & his staff were absolutely fantastic, really friendly & honest. They showed me all the components & receipts that had been replaced to make the car good again. They made me feel confident & at ease with buying from them so I purchased the car on the same day I had seen it on Autotrader. There was one issue with the car but Shakeel went to great efforts to put things right within warranty. The car has been faultless since then & I am so happy with it. Bought a car from here today and am really happy.Car was exactly as advertised.Salesman was open to all my questions and even took a call from my mechanic friend.Was completely honest about one minor thing the car needed which was really insignificant to me but I appreciated this. Especially when used car sales doesn't tend to have a transparent reputation (or was my anticipation).Car was immaculate inside and I also have some warranty with them.I found the payment process easy and was able to do it all online.Only reason it isn't a 5 is because I had to have it washed but the inside was immaculate, so not a huge deal.

Where to start...These guys are deceitful. They do not tell the truth and do not know about current laws.I recently bought a car from Broad Lane Motors and I have been very disappointed with them. Maybe I was naive but they certainly took advantage.Things they lied about:Fitting a new flywheel.Full service history.The car having air conditioning (the air-con belt was missing).Having run a diagnostic test (if they had then they knew what was wrong with the car which is even worse).The car having reverse sensors (they're broken).Other faults with the car:Handbrake at 18% efficiency.Faulty glow plugs.Broken DSC pressure sensors (aka no traction control).Faulty rear wiring.Missing engine cover.Missing spare wheel.Shot control arm bushings.In the end I tried to return the car as outlined in the consumer rights act 2015 but they did not acknowledge/understand this law and would not accept the return.I ended up accepting about half of what I was quoted to get the car fixed as I did not want to spend my time taking them to court.I would wholeheartedly recommend avoiding Broad Lane Motors.

Definitely avoid buying from this garage.I recently bought a car from Broad Lane Motors and it has been one of my worst experiences. On the way home, about 30 mins after picking up the car the coil spring broke on the front left and the ABS warning light came on. They did agree to fix the problem with the ABS light but after numerous wasted trips to see them the problem still remains. They did replace the coil but missed the bigger problem of the broken front shock absorber. Then I found out it needed all new brake pads and discs and a new clutch all within a month of buying it. Not worth buying from them unless you get your own mechanic to check it out first. They use various third party garages for repairs so it very difficult to get the necessary repairs done before your 1 month warranty runs out.

Good selection of lower priced vehicles. Bought a Mondeo, wheel bearing needed doing after a week. Sorted it myself as Thier mechanic seemed more of an odd job man. Also alloy wheel was bent, however that could have happened after I bought vehicle. Service history with vehicle was one old invoice. Toilet facilities are a bush behind portacabin. But note vehicle is running well and so far no major issues.

True dealership proper class. Having spoken with Shakeel on the phone he was a pleasure to meet in real life, he handed over the handover to be closed by he’s brother who took us on the test drive. And believe he took us on a proper 20 minute test drive on the motorway, answered every question and was super friendly and knowledgeable. They’re priced to sell and go above and beyond to ensure that they keep the customer happy. I’m glad I bought my wife’s Toyota Auris through these guys. Great service and friendly, helpful staff. Thank you Shakeel for leaving a family celebration to open the garage for my brother and myself when we drove over from Manchester on a Friday evening. I bought a brilliant Kia Picanto for a great price and in fantastic condition.

Bought a car from these guys a year ago, 9 months after having it, I’ve had to have the air con sorted, new tyres, new suspension arms and coil springs, new battery, cam sensor, fuel filter and still the car won’t start intermittently, breaks down in the middle of roads after 10 minutes of driving, and not a warning light or error code in sight! Had it at a couple of really decent and highly rated garages including a VW specialist and 2 electricians who can not find a problem with the car! £6000 down the pot after only 9 months!

I bought a Skoda Octavia estate a month ago, I've done plenty driving in it and had no problems, the car has been well looked after, the guys were great they let me have a really good look around the car and had nothing to hide. My son was with me who is in a wheelchair and the guys were great with him and helped get his chair in the office. I'd definitely come back for a car in the future.
