Sussex Dental Group - West Hove

Bruno Costa is the worst dentist I have ever seen .Does not listen to what you say to him at all . He put too much anaesthetic in for a tooth with no root or nerve , hangs you upside down like a bat with blood rushing to your head if you ask to sit up more are ignored ,and if you tell him 4 times you cannot breathe because of a deviated septum and asthma and that if he uses a dental dam he will literally suffocate you , you are totally ignored He then broke my tooth by trying to put the dental dam on that I requested 4 times he did not making it now difficult for a competent dentist to fit a crown to .He dropped a huge metal piece of a device /clamp directly into my mouth that I nearly choked on like a huge round piece of metal I have never in my life walked out of a dentist before especially once treatment has commenced .But this man is in a world of his own and ignores anything you say to him I would advise anyone to stay well clear of him .. I also told him I had a bad gag reflex and he left me for ages to do an x ray with something in my mouth with no sense of urgency at all .I have never seen a worse dentist in all my life

After working for a year at Sussex Dental Group, I can only say they are AMAZING! A big thank you to the management team: Marzena, Anna and Nikki, for being so nice and understanding. You feel supported by the whole team if you have any question or doubts. I started as a Trainee so I had loads.They take the time to give you a proper training and they also make sure you feel comfortable doing your job.I would also like to mention the owners, Emmanuel and Vanessa, both humble and approchable people, they will always have a nice word to say to you, and this really says a lot about how the business work.As for the nurses, they all are very kind and ready to help you if you feel need it. They have a very experienced team which makes it easier for people who prefer to see same faces all the time, however they are always open to hiring and train new staff.The reception is also great and helpful, they are a very experienced and communicative team, which is very helpful if you work in such a fast-paced places as it is a dental practice.And last but not the least, a huge thank you to Doctor Nour Geres, an amazing dentist that is always willing to help and to provide the BEST service she can. Nour will always have kind words to say, and combined to her professionalism, it makes her a great clinician to work with. I honestly do not know what I would have done without her in the clinic! Nour is really the best!I just want to say I am really greatful to SDG for giving me the opportunity to work here, I have gained so much skills that now will be valuable for the rest of my life!

Amazing service from the moment I called. My dentist was Dan who advised me my options and then took out a very infected tooth. Extraction was done perfectly and today slightly sore but swelling and pain have gone. Totally recommend Sussex Dental Group 5 stars from me

I had an extraction booked in with DR.FAHAD JAMIL. He made absolutely zero effort to make any small talk or conversation to check in with me whatsoever. Seemed very rushed and aggressive in his manner. Gave me the injection, very rushed. I tried explaining that I had a phobia of dentists, again, showed no compassion or any effort to calm my nerves. He then tried to initiate the procedure. I moved my head a tiny bit, and he stopped straight away and said that he can’t do the procedure as I’m moving my head. No trying to settle or assure me it was going to be ok. I then got up and told him I think he needs to work on his bedside manner, to which he replied “you should take better care of your teeth” !!I’m absolutely shocked by this, I’ve never left a bad review for anyone. But just feel it’s very important people are aware of how the “Dr.” Works.. he was in a huge rush, and had zero compassion. Nice one FAHAD, nice work! I had taken 2 days off work for this and had to arrange childcare. AVOID THIS DR AT ALL COSTS

Went today just for a little check-up and my dentist Dr. Kapoor was FANTASTIC, super friendly and had lots of helpful video’s on how to floss. Also the receptionists were so lovely and super speedy !

Just to say that I am so so impressed with this practice! I had to have a complicated wisdom tooth removal which I was absolutely dreading. From the minute I got inside, the woman on reception was absolutely lovely and did all she could to reassure me and calm my nerves. Dr Dimitrios Soultos was the surgeon who did the procedure and he was so lovely, when I got there he explained everything that could be done and gave me the option to know about each step as he was doing it. He gave me little breaks from the work so that it wasn’t too much and the nurse working with him was reassuring me the whole time. The whole experience was amazing for a procedure that is pretty nasty- would definitely recommend coming here for any dental work you need doing!

I was very nervous when arriving at the surgery as I was about to have my implant placed, first time ever. All the receptionist were lovely, friendly, especially Sharon, who I was in contact with and who arranged everything for me. I have had my implant placed by Dimitri , he is a great implantologist. He and his nurse, Penny really took good care of me by reassuring me with everything. As soon as I sat in this chair I felt I am in good hands and there is nothing to worry about. He talked me through everything.The procedure was done perfectly without any pain or any worry. If I ever need an other implant I will definitely return to Sussex Dental Group and Dimitri .Well done team, keep up the good work :)

Highly recommend this dentist. My dentist is Dan who has worked wonders with replacing old bridge work. Completely trust his expertise and the dental nurse who assists him.
