Houdini's Magic Bar
We went in just as they were opening at 4pm so were the first customers of the day.The barman Terry welcomed us with a friendly smile and immediately agreed to show us a magic trick. However as he was serving us a regular magician called Jez, who was only having a quiet drink and wasn't meant to be working, showed us a few card tricks... He was amazing! He had a lovely way about him and entertained us for hours! A lot of fun and banter.Ashley the mind reader came after and baffled us with his thought process and the way he was able to influence us into choosing cards and symbols without our realising it!We would highly recommend this place if you want to have a drink and a show!

Good cocktails and the magic was very good. We were only there for one cocktail but even in that short time the magician, Ben, got to our table and did a full trick. Yes magic with cocktails is a bit of a gimmick but it's a gimmick that works. Particularly suited to a cocktail bar also.

This place is awesome! I’m in here for my birthday and I’m being so entertained Kasy makes the most beautiful cocktails & is so nice & friendly & Mitch & his magic tricks are just amazing!! Like how does he do it?? Magic is REALLL!! Thank you for an amazing birthday!!

Nice bar, the timing of our visit means we just missed the magic which was about to start as we were leaving.The magic theme was everywhere, eclectic boho range of sofas , chairs and barstools, friendly and helpful staf. Nice cocktails lovely pub

An enchanting evening. Darren the magician was captivating. We went on a Sunday evening, it was quiet but this helped make the magic tricks more intimate and enjoyable. A highlight of our trip to Broadstairs!

We visited Houdini’s Magic Bar for the first time and cannot wait to go again. Bar staff are extremely friendly and helpful, magician was funny and very friendly too. The drinks are out of this world as my daughter can confirm after downing a few of the wonderful cocktails served there.
