Strand Palace

A great hotel right next to Covent Garden and the theatre district, with a modern feel in an old setting. The rooms aren’t the largest but that’s quite normal for London and the room prices are high. I have to say though in consideration for the location, quality of the rooms and the service, it’s well worth paying the price. Lovely large seating area to rest up in with a table service from the bar. Would certainly recommend.

Just returned from a long weekend. Have stayed at the hotel numerous times but this time my experience was not so good. Upon arrival we were allocated a little box room, looking out onto some scaffolding. We were allocated a new room which had no heating! Overall better 4 star hotels out there.

So far my favorite stay in London, especially when I travel alone for business. All the rooms I have stayed in so far where clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are great. I like the design, even the small rooms don't feel tiny. I like that the shutters really block out all the light. My stays have always been quiet and the service very friendly. It's not cheap but for the comfort and knowledge of a certain standard I feel like it is good value for money. The only downside for me is the wait at the elevators as they are far too small for the amount of people staying here. Try not to be in a rush. ;-)

I had an excellent stay. Lovely room. The breakfast was delicious and varied selections. The hotel was very busy, so I needed to adjust my leaving times for some waiting at the elevators. Great location.

Location is very great, for a short weekend you’re in middle of London with a lot of buses and trains around.We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was really nice, until someone from the hotel came unannounced in our room during the night.They explained that it was a glitch and they tried to make our stay better after this.Staff is very sweet and here for you if you need anything.Breakfast has a large variety of foods and it’s very good.Our room was a bit small but clean a comfortable.Overall a good hotel that you could go to easily.

The young man who checked me in took great care in helping me choose the room I wanted for my nine-day stay. He was patient, friendly, and helpful. All the staff from maintenance to room cleaners, breakfast staff, concierge staff, and doormen were great, always greeting me with a smile and cheery word. It was a treat to see Richard again and to chat with him as I entered and left the hotel. my room was clean, spacious enough, and comfortable. All in all it was a great stay.

They were always ready to assist with a smile, making my stay even more enjoyable.The rooms are cozy and well-maintained, providing a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the city. The modern amenities and cleanliness were top-notch.The on-site dining options are fantastic, and I highly recommend trying out their restaurant for a delicious meal.Overall, the Strand Palace is the perfect choice for a London stay, offering a great blend of location, service, and comfort. I'll certainly be returning on my next visit to this incredible city.

I booked a superior single room which was lovely as it was clean, the bed was comfy, it had a free reusable water bottle, and a free bar of salted caramel chocolate however, the walls were so paper thin that I didn't get any sleep as I was kept awake by the room next to me going at it all night and I was woken up by them multiple times in the night! I complained to reception but the woman checking me out simply said okay" and changed the subject. I've stayed in Premier Inn's that had better sound proofing in their rooms than this "luxury" hotel. I won't be staying here ever again and I don't recommend anyone else to waste their money on this hotel if they want to actually be able to sleep."

Premium single room is very small but seems typical of this area. A bit noisy, can hear people talking in the hallways, closing doors, etc. Room was clean, doormen were friendly. We would stay here again, good if you are just looking for a place to sleep. Location is amazing!

We stayed in a suite for 3 on the 7th floor. There were only 2 of everything (towels, dressing gowns etc) in the room on arrival and no bedding for the sofa bed. These issues were dealt with quickly by the staff on duty around 11pm. We put up with having no window, only 6 hangers in the wardrobe and extractor fan in bathroom running all night with a faulty bathroom door which swung open when not locked from the inside. Each day the elevators took forever to arrive and visited every floor on the way down. The breakfast choices, the bar, the staff and the atmosphere of the hotel and its location were all excellent.
