Stayed for four nights and absolutely loved every second of it. Amazing value for money, very spacious rooms and nice toilets with great water pressure on the shower. Even better value for money if you book a room with breakfast included, the waffles are a must.For the rest of the meals, the pub has a very cozy vibe and is very well priced, with nice variety of drinks, awesome burgers and great fish & chips.Many services and stores nearby and the area is quiet and nice. Only con I can think of: there's only one tube line, plus some buses. Getting to downtown London will take about an hour. But honestly, it's not a deal breaker.Overall, excellent place and would absolutely book again!

Good stuff: Large spotless room. Fixtures and fittings looked well maintained. Courteous staff. Good location for tube line. Having pub restaurant on site was convenient and wasn’t at all noisy in the room. Noon check out. Improvements: maybe shift check in and check out times from 15:00 and noon to 14:00 and 11:00 respectively. I found both to be a little late in the day but that may suit others of course. Other than that all very good.

When we arrived there was loud busy pub with two lots of entertainment in the pub and a private function room. We checked in after a long wait at the bar (15/20 minutes) to even see someone and then forms to fill in and sign. We just wanted to get to our rooms and get food as we had rushed to get there before 9pm as the email said to check in before then and hoped it would be done and dusted at a sensible time. No that wasn’t the case midnight it finished and then people started shouting outside the window. Doors banging below, furniture being moved too. When we eventually got to sleep we were awoken by a delivery to the hotel at 7.30/8am which was noisy too. We did notify the hotel who dealt with the situation well and were extremely apologetic. No where on the site to book does it mention there is entertainment every weekend in the pub below as it does in the pub. This certainly would have made me think about booking it and definitely will not be back here at a weekend again. We were also greeted in the room by a toilet that had been used and not flushed at least properly. Renovations in the room next door that could start at 8am every day was also not communicated too. Luckily this didn’t happen but I would have already been awake on the first morning if it had!We ate here 3 times 1st mornings breakfast was great, quick and fresh. Evening meal was good and nice too. On the last morning we had breakfast and it was nearly 45 minutes from ordering to table. When it came it was good was what we were left with. We would have eaten when we arrived but we were unable to get a table so had to go elsewhere.Overall a mediocre and disappointing stay. The rooms and decor are tired, not cleaned thoroughly enough and this includes the pub. Lights were caked in dust and paint hanging from the ceiling as there had been a leak upstairs. Corridors piled with chairs on a Friday night. The best thing about the place was free parking and proximity to the tube.

We had a lovely room, clean and a comfortable bed. We were celebrating a birthday…a party of 12, had a meal which was nice, a DJ was there, good music played. Staff very friendly and helpful, including the cleaning ladies. Will definitely be staying there again when we visit my son.

Was an amazing stay, great food good location right next to the train station as you come out.The staff were very kind I would definitely come here again.

Great location in Hornchurch for District line tube (literally next door). Pub was good and busy. Staff very friendly. Breakfast was nice.Room was quite small and it was very warm. Fan in room helped but not as good as aircon. If it had been a very hot day it would be a bigger issue I think.

Very friendly staff, extremely clean rooms, excellent food, excellent location to take the underground to London. Really enjoyed our stay and will return!

We really enjoyed the bedroom size ,and cleanliness.We had an issue with all of the power sockets on one wall in the room - though we did not report this until your check out because it did not impact on our use of the room though it may do for future guests

I went here for a band event and the atmosphere was fantastic. Huge pub serving okay pub food and reasonably priced drinks. They do cocktails too and some are in 2-4-1 so that can be handy. It's so easy to get to as it's very near Hornchurch station. Easy to get to on the bus too. It has outside tables all be them next to the roadside which is unfortunate but the pub is very large with three different areas. Small style saloon bar as you go in with tables, middle section with table and performance area, and the back area which is more for dining than drinking. I had the calamari strips and chicken wings which were starter portions and adequate. This is not fine dining but ok if you want something to fill a gap whilst drinking. I would recommend it as the staff are friendly and they have a good drinks selection.
