The Oxbow Lakes

Haven't been for a while but it was a great little lake, really nice and peaceful great scenery

Now the Approach Trout lake supposed to be a runs water never saw a fish in front all week pegs are a complete disgrace I had to be in waders to reach the front of peg 3ft deep water to reach it. With some work done on pegs and paths and stocking this could be a fantastic water. Rules regarding swim limits as saw guy take his bait boat 200m plus across many others. Many only fish to get a ticket to fish the willows next door not sure I would bother after fishing the trout lake. I had friends fish a charity match the weekend after we left i think 28 fishing 3 fish caught 2 lost in a full weekend most of these sponsored anglers
