A good convenience store opens good hours and has a wide range of produce but like most of these places it's a little more expensive than a proper supermarket

Good shop to park the lorry and get a feed but will no longer be doing so myself as the costumer toilet has been out of order for a long time

Excellent service with a smile. Young man Patrick was most helpful, carried out the Shloer and put it into the boot of my car. Great store.

I am absolutely disgusted with the way my partner and I were treated at the Rathgael Road EuroSpar today. For context: The shop has signs at the self service tills reminding customers to check their card transactions have gone through.I’m very careful when I use them but it seems last Sunday I left and the transaction had failed - but the card reader, nor till, nor staff informed me of it so I left.We returned yesterday and bought more shopping (the transaction went through). When we were in the shop we had a member of staff fix an issue at our till so there was ample opportunity to resolve the situation when both of us were present. My partner went alone today to go and buy some eggs but was flagged down by a member of staff who alerted the assistant manager that he was there. As I was the one who tried to pay for Sunday’s shopping, they should have asked my partner to contact me. Instead they treated him like a criminal when it was so obvious that it was an honest mistake. The other shop assistants were staring at him, talking quietly amongst themselves, all staff disappearing behind the staff door and returning shortly later. He rightly felt very judged and uncomfortable, as though he was a bad person. We are both regular customers at the shop and I cannot deny that it seems as though the attitude taken with my partner was negative because he is a young man with dark skin. Because when I showed up, a small white young woman, the a.managed had a very appeasing tone and resolved the issue immediately - even though he made my partner wait 10-15 mins.So today, the a.manager told my partner that he had not paid yesterday’s bill but my partner had so he tells him this after waiting to pay the amounts. My partner was cooperative and said he would pay any bills.According to my partner the assistant manager was very accusatory, telling him that they had contacted the police and that they were looking for him. The a.manager made it seem as though they needed to call the police to fix the issue when this wasn’t true. They asked if he wanted them to call the police to which my partner said yes.My partner called me during this time and I rushed to the shop (which has negatively affected my health) but when I arrived the a.manager’s attitude was very different and he told me we just needed to pay Sunday’s bill and everything would be fine. I did that and we left without further incident.I feel as though this could have been handled so much easier, without trying to scare my partner and forcing me to come down to the shop. This is clearly an issue the spar has regularly and is not the fault of customers who just want to buy their shopping and go home. Thanks for reading.

Worse service ever. Staff rude and manager is lacking basic communication and managerial skills. I have never received such an incompetent service. I would give zero stars if this was allowed
