I go to the Brook Green pavilion almost every day. The staff are great but a special shoutout to John the manager. He spends so much time and consideration talking the kids through all the many options to go on top of the soft scoop ice cream. Sadly I’m diabetic so I can just watch but the cheese croissants are a major stopping point on my daily walk. And I had the pleasure of meeting Vera the other day - good luck with the new Whitstable shop.

Cute ice cream place located in the park. Focus on softserve ice cream.Softserve ice cream was good. Creamy, very milky and sweet with a nice vanilla flavor. Unfortunately, it was not silky enough, and tasted icy. Texture could be better.

Talk about high quality. This is the best cafe experience I’ve had in a park cafe. The hot chocolate was incredible/ the cheese and bread of the cheese toastie were also high quality. We had a date and pistachio brownie as well. Just perfect. Nothing was ‘too much’ - great experience. We’re not from the area but will be back when we are.

On the side of the Tennis Courts near st Augustine's school, this ace little icecream booth is well situated for a stop offbreak on a walk. Lovely ice-cream and really great value .two coffees and a pot of creamy homemade icecream for barely ten pounds!

Ever since the Bears Ice cream company opened in Brook Green it has been an absolute joy. They sell Scotties coffee which is absolutely delicious, iced coffee, affogato & tasty sourdough toasties. Freshly baked cookies, muffins and pastries are the ideal treat with your tea or coffee and saving the best for last, the ice cream. You can create your own or try their absolute madness mix of toppings and it is just scrumptious. They also sell tubs of ice cream too and they have some interesting flavours.The staff are always polite, helpful and friendly. It can get quite busy when the schools finish and there is a queue of people and kids waiting to be served but it is worth the wait as you get that personal service.They have lots of seating outside which is a bonus on those sunny days and they have the canopy if it starts to rain. I would highly recommend this place.

Bears is a lovely community cafe on Brooke Green who includes everyone no matter which path you’ve taken. We are in era where everyone needs to be included. Very dog friendly and John is brilliant!

Trying to support a small local business but an extra 90 for alternative milk in your coffee is a complete rip off.Reply: Ty for the feedback - what I’m hearing is we pay for the cow milk AND the oat milk and you make an extra 15p. Also quiet an aggy reply , best of luck!

Usually great soft serve, but they usually only have one person behind the counter so it takes ages. This week, one of their ice cream machines broke down and the person behind the counter had to scoop the ice cream. I was first in the queue, and It took 20 minutes until she was able to take my order and then another 10 minutes for her to take additional orders until she finally began making my order. All in all, 35-40 minutes waiting for one ice cream. Terrible customer service. Please hire more staff, asking one person to work (take orders and make the orders) when the machine is broken is ridiculous. Especially when the weather is good.Update: The owner responded within 30 minutes of me writing this review. I applaud you trying to keep the business open, but there are a lot of disappointed customers and children lined up outside the shop. Also, once we finally got to the till, we were all told the ice cream is melting. Ultimately, about half the kids and their parents gave up and left with no ice cream. I think if you have time to reply to google reviews so fast, then maybe you can head down to the shop and help out your one employee there to scoop some ice cream?
