Mayes Scrine Equine Veterinary Practice

Ben is the most caring and knowledgeable horse vet. He has looked after my horses for many years and has always been there when a problem has arrived. My lovely horse was put down by him just recently, no one could have been kinder, a very sad but peaceful end. Thank you Ben xx Five stars all the way !

First class veterinary practice. They have looked after our horses for ten plus years. Their service is second to none and I would recommend them in a heartbeat. It is so reassuring to have caring for our horses.

When I moved out of the area and had another vet do my horses teeth he found hooks where the vet at Mayes and scrine hadn’t done his teeth properly for many years. So when I return to the area I will not use them ever again because if they can’t do a simple task of a horses teeth correctly I could not trust their opinion on more serious and complicated issues.

This vets are amazing. I have had them for as long as I have had Marty which is 5 years. Ben is absolutely a star . The whole team including all the staff that you speak to on the phone too. I would highly recommend this practice to many of my horsey friends. X I am moving on to live in the country. Wish I could take them with me formartt but can't x massive thanks. Good staff. Amazing care.

I've been with this practice for more than fifteen years and can't fault them on anything.Professional at all times,always prompt and on time on visits.The whole team are brilliant I wouldn't go anywhere else!

The WORST vet I have ever encountered. I wouldn't even give my toaster to these people to fix.It would take far more time than I have available to write what actually happened but we'all leave it to the very basics:- over £5k spent on a simple absences. Even though he was operated on at the beginning under their advice.- they lied about who was carrying out said 'operation' which cost £2k and didn't solve the issue.- months of bute and antibiotics for my ulcer suffering horse.- never called to ask how he was - only to chase insurance.I can't be bothered to continue but Arundel sorted it in a week for £600.If you still use them after reading this for god sake don't tell them your insurance claim limit.... they'all certainly make good use of the info.

If there were 6 stars I would award them to the fantastic experienced and caring team at Mayes& Scrine Equine Vet. When you call you receive excellent, calm and informed advice. On visits the vets are professional and sincere, If you are admitted the nursing team are efficient and super experienced. To me, the whole team have one objective and that is to treat and attended to my horse. I found i could ask any questions without being judged and the team are always calm and un-rushed, taking their time and making me and my issues the focus. Thank you all .. Beverley & Coco
