Medicine Bakery

Very disappointed with the greeting and refusal to be seated. We walked in as a group and were denied seating due to our size even though the bakery was empty. I appreciate that staffing is an issue, but we were happy to accommodate, sitting in smaller groups and staggering the orders, even happy to wait a little longer.

Honestly I can’t believe we were refused entry, we tried so hard to cooperate and they just really didn’t want to allow us entry for whatever reason, we were a big group that had travelled from Manchester just for this bakery, and because we were a big group they were unable to serve us, I think they were being lazy and didn’t want to do any real work if I am honest I feel sorry for the owners as this would have been a big payday for them. DO NOT go to this bakery if you are in a group of more than 4 people as you will be denied entry, shocking service and staffing is all I can say. We were willing to sit in groups of 4 and still were refused entry, while other groups of 4 were literally being seated in front of us. Shocking, shocking shocking!

Beautiful open space which was nice and quiet.Not many vegetarian options but the staff were very informative, professional and very approachable.I had the buddha bowl which was nice and healthy.They allowed us to take our time too. .

We entered expecting an incredible brunch with a party of 15. However instantly we were treated with the worst service I've seen anywhere in the world. One of the staff gave us weird looks, also refused to let us sit down as we were a big group even though the place was empty. She did not even bother trying to accommodate and we mentioned we are happy to split into smaller groups but to no avail. The rudeness and lack of hospitality is super strange and unexpected.I would never come back or recommend this place to anyone going forward.

Booked for a Saturday brunch with family.Exceptional service, we asked for advice as we were vegetarian and had one vegan member.The smoothies weee of a fantastic quality, we had berry and green smoothies.The food was prepared fresh, of very hood quality. Nothing was of trouble for the staff smiles all the way.The setting in the Chubb building is very lovely, authentic.We really enjoyed our brunch, where the time went while we were there we do not know.Thank you.

layout is very nice, food was good but not as good as the Codsall restaurant, i had the French Toast with bacon, the bacon was a bit too well done and there wasn't much egg taste to the toast but my friends enjoyed their meals.The cinnamon bun was a bit tough but the mocha was nice and staff were friendly, 3/5

Always come here especially on a Sunday and have the best customer service from Kate G. She is so attentive and provides such good service. She’s probably the only reason we’ve stopped going to Codsall and come to this one. Food is good and atmosphere good too.

Beautiful location (be careful in the building), a bit chilly, but the smell of freshly baked bread, very friendly staff, atmosphere and food make up for that. Highly recommended!!
