A bookstore owned and run by someone who is knowledgeable as well as passionate about books.I was impressed by the layout as soon as I saw the SF turnstile. There were several more of these with different genres, all densely packed. There is a LOT of stock for a small place.The owner, Ros, was friendly and insightful. Well worth visiting and getting to know.

This is a real book shop. The staff are knowledgable and always seem to send me away with the right book for the moment. Their stock is amazing and usually if they do not give you the right book there and then they will have it in your hands the next day. Burway Books is worth your visit

I visited Burway Books briefly while stopping off in Church Stretton after a few days in the area. It's definitely worth a visit if you love books and it's independent.Basically, it's a small but perfectly formed bookshop with two women doing the honours on the day we called in. Plenty to look at and browse around with an interesting poetry section.Someone came in to ask about an order, so the place felt rather full!!! They are dealing with Covid-19 restrictions really well, though and I certainly felt safe and happy to browse. My wife was a bit spooked by so many people in a small area and went to stand outside but, also loves the shop.One of the servers came over to ask if there was anything I was looking for in particular and could she help. Service this great.Later I checked online and they have a good website and do delivery orders. This is a 5-star independent bookshop for me!

Lovely shop, very interesting stock. I always manage to come away with something, no matter how hard I try and resist.

I love this bookshop, small but tons of stock, easy to see what is there and they'll order anything in they haven't got for you. I have to stop myself going in too much so I have money in the bank! Lovely ladies running it, definitely always worth a visit!

Just been in having popped to church stretton on holiday and what a lovely bookshop - so friendly and welcoming for booklovers of all ages. A magical little bookshop.
