Extremely rude disrespectful and unprofessional receptionist and doctors and I am going to explain everything that has happened to me and my family to argue on why this gp is like this. and i know this is going to be very long but please read it so we can finally do something about their disgusting behaviour towards patientsStarting recently last week Friday my little sister felt very sick and at that time we didn’t know she had stomach flu which ended up with us all catching it, took me a whole hour to get an appointment at 2pm with a very rude receptionist that acted like i was wasting her time when i explained my sister’s symptoms, refused to give us a translator saying we never told them we needed one even though we have been with this gp for 2 years and they know that sometimes we need it if im not available. mom waited 45 minutes in the waiting area after logging in, the young receptionist was being dismissive when my little sister kept telling her they had an appointment at 2pm fast forward when i finally was able to reach the gp and explained that we had an appointment at 2pm very kindly i am not someone to raise their voice or speak with attitude but the girl started raising her voice saying no one was there till 2:45 so my mom was lying for saying she was there at 2pm then 2 other ladies came from behind where they sit or something all started berating me yelling and calling my mom a liar and they basically said in a threatening voice they will check the cameras only to show us we are lying that my mom got there at 2pm, then after whole 2 hours i asked them very kindly to please at least let me have a 2 minutes convo with any doctor to give me advice on what i should give my sister to eat or do because she kept throwing up every hour and had a high temperature and they refused acting like it was some business appointment we missed and not someone’s health at stake and that someone being a 7 year old child.another thing that keeps happening, my dad has diabetes and when we were with meridalle centre they had given my dad the machine that helps him keep track of his blood sugar levels however we keep asking for one here at kings way surgery but the doctors yelled at me saying we act spoiled wanting everything handed to us and that if he really needed on he would’ve asked for one ages ago but we need however no one paid attention saying we gotta buy it ourselves. another thing with my dad, he had kidney problems now and high blood pressure but the gp did not believe him that he needs extra medicine for his high blood pressure even though we did many tests for weeks to show them he does and for the kidney problems he has they don’t even care they said we should go back to our country to keep his treatment going since we had the audacity to go to another country for medical help even though when we went to them they kept making fun of him saying he’s a 50 year old man that had inflamed muscle and that he should toughen up.and with me I have PCOS that again i had to go to my country for medical help because for them a 6cm ovarian cyst is caused by my periods apparently and if i do want to see a gynaecologist i would have to wait 2 years but i found out in my country that i need to get surgery to remove it since it keeps growing

Kingsway surgery is the worst surgery, and should be closed down due to poor patients care. Been to see the Dr at kingsway on the 06/10 when he had added incorrect notes as he was the one who told us to go AE as that was the quickest way to get bloods done to find out cause of infection. He then added notes to advise we asked him nothing of the sort happed what he had added on the notes . He refused to treat or give medication told us to go AE. AE dr advised why did your GP not treat you and should know better what the process is if have an insect bite. As we would never do bloods as bloods will take long to get results and this would mean not treating patients. Treatment needs to be started asap. AE gave antibiotics which kingsway Dr refused to treat. Then I raised a concern with the practice and they advised me to send email for manager to call but still not heard back. I today called for urgent appointment due to pain and receptionist advised go to the walking centre awful service just advised no appointments can't help. I am thinking of taking this to media as this had happened few years where they neglected us. Please please patients speak up can't let this happen. When this surgery was run by Dr Gordon and team it was brilliant. Since then its just gone downhill.

This is on behalf of my partner who has been phoning for the last 3 weeks and has been at the very front of the phone queue only to be told everything there are no more vacancies for an appointment. How can this be?Then she managed to get an appointment and was told she would receive an appointment for bloods however the nurse forgot to input this information on the database. Now she has been told to ring every morning again to rebook. Terrible running of a surgery.Why are you not reading your reviews, sack the lot of you. Poor woman is crying, stressed, depressed and in pain.

I only gave it one star as I had to.Avoid this surgery. They don’t care about patients well being. You can’t prebook appointments, you are told to call daily yet you can’t get through and when you eventually do the appointments are gone. Reception staff are rude and have lack of medical knowledge. My parents are in their seventies, disabled and they struggle with technology. They are not receiving the care they deserve and can never get an appointment. My parents mental health is suffering and so is mine as I am constantly battling with them. There are too many issues to list on here but the surgery is incompetent and needs closing down.

I can’t express enough how unsafe this surgery is.Receptionist are not clinically trained so for them to make clinical decisions on behalf of the GP’s is unsafe. They show no empathy, no understanding and lack social skills.I stood at the desk watching the receptionist gossip and not answer the phones, unbeknown to them I was on the line waiting for them to answer. Reception manager then came out and coincidently my call was then answered.CQC have not been to this surgery since 2019!After reading many negative reviews our area needs to group together to get this surgery closed once and for all.The only practitioner that shown empathy, respect, understating and generally being helpful is the ANP Shantelle T.

I try to call them every day this week, wait 2hours until they pick the phone up, and they always say they don’t have appointment, they hang up on me every single day, ridiculous what they doin there!!!!!The worst surgery , can’t get meds for my 2yrs old one.

I had the most horrendous experience with this practice. A family member at end of life. I could get no help or support from the doctors here. I cannot go into a lot of detail as it would be too identifying. My loved one suffered a lot more than they should have due to a lack of care from the doctors here. I ended up feeling suicidal and am now on antidepressants.I did make a complaint but predictably got nowhere as the doctors lied. I echo other reviewers that this surgery needs to be closed down.

Poor experience, especially with the practice manager and reception staff being consistently rude. The surgery also has some very out of touch processes that don’t allow booking appointments face-to-face.Don’t get your hopes up for emergency appointments either. However, I would like to Dr recognise Zan Parwaiz as being exceptional

I rang over 40 times at 8am, to then be on hold for 28 minutes. The receptionist are rude and dismissive. When I arrived at the surgery the receptionist again was rude and dismissive to the patients in the queue. Not everyone can use the check in screens, and not everyone is checking in. The only saving grace is Shantelle Tompkins, she has almost enough kindness and patience to make up for the receptionists. Take a page out of her book.
