Moto Cardiff West

Stopped in for a quick bite and toilet break. Whilst toilets were clean and Burger King was good meal and sitting area was clean, overall the Service Station looked like could do with overhaul as looked dated.

Disabled parking, well placed at front of outlet. Good clean motorway facilities with staff constantly cleaning down tables. Food outlets provided, although rather costly. Toilets modern and clean. W H Smith, well stocked with newspapers, books, car accessories, stationary, confectionary etc. One of the better motorway stops l have encountered

Not very campervan freindly. £15 to stay overnight in your van for a carpark is just greed.Was desperately looking for a stopover as had a long drive but decided to carry on and ended up in a lay-by farther down the road.

It wasn't busy at the time of our visit, toilets were reasonably clean, albeit, tired looking, hand dryers were functioning. WHSmith, Krispy Kreme, Burger King, Costa, Greggs. Masks mandated, direction arrows on the floor. BP petrol station on site, ample car and coach parking. Travelodge on site. Cash machine £1.99 charge per withdrawal.

Drivers point of view. Entrance Door to lorry park hasn't been cleaned for months. WH smiths must think we are all millionaires. Burger King.. £9 for a meal! Costa.. Is Costa lol. Love to sit in comfy chairs, as we don't all want to sit in cabs, but music is always so loud you can't even have a phone call. The good things.... Reasonably clean and seating is decent, Toilets are ok. Greggs keeps us fed at a decent price, plenty of bins, usually parking available so... Overall.. It's a 5/10.

A busy service station, parking is ok but that's it, it is free though. The services are fairly well laid out but as expected toilets are at the far side so you go past all the offerings on the way!Only a quick stop so not a lot else to add for this visit.

The hotel's decor feels dated, and unfortunately, the room doors create quite a disturbance with their loud slamming whenever opened or closed. This constant noise from doors echoing throughout the property was quite bothersome.In addition to this, the carpets were marred with unsightly stains, a far cry from their intended appearance. The unpleasant odor that pervaded both the rooms and the corridors further exacerbated the overall experience.Considering the substantial amount of £370 we paid for three rooms for a single night, the value simply did not match up to our expectations.

Blink and you'll miss it disabled parking is separate to the main car park, and if you miss the sudden turning into it there's no way of coming back around on yourself. Steps from main car park aren't horrendous but not recommended for the mobility impaired. Services themselves are reasonable (we only stopped to use the loo and stretch our legs though) and its one of those services which are not directly off the motorway, so expect a small amount of extra travel to get off and back on if heading westbound.

Pricey as all service stations are but usually clean and tidy and most of the staff are pleasant.Costa, Burger King and Greggs here.
