Well Pharmacy

1) Staff always ignore people who come in and make us wait seemingly without reason for what seems like an age - surely SOMEONE should be designated to serve incomers! When they do eventually come to the desk they are bordering on being unpleasant, and then just go off to the back and rummage around without explaining what they're doing, how long they'll be, or advise to wait outside to allow the next person in (my experience and other customer's comments over the years). It takes no effort to manage expectations. When people get ignored, they get annoyed. The uncoordinated staff and customer management is something people are ALWAYS grumbling about. 2) Only 2 people are allowed in but they make no effort to manage people in the queue. There are always 4 or 5 people clearly visible dispensing in the background so it's very annoying not to at least be acknowledged. Of course you're busy, but if you cannot manage your business from being too busy - or provide decent customer service then do something about it. 3) I have found staff rude and terse on occasion too on a separate note. I'm changing my prescription collection pharmacy - which is a shame since my surgery is next door. It's worse since Covid distancing but the service here has ALWAYS been bad. Had enough!

Andrew and the rest of the team do there best to get my prescription ready as quickly as possible and even when they are really busy I rarely wait longer than 15 mind. Always polite and friendly and always very helpful

I came in to get an emergency prescription as I live in Bristol was seeing family while I was in Swansea and I just needed to provide some details and with a bit of a wait I had my emergency stash and I could go through the weekend without any worries! Only issue was the wait time was sat around for 35-40 mins but staff were helpful and friendly.

I Had an appointment for a flu injection. I was told to take a seat . I waited 20 minutes no one said a word to me even though they were walking around. I thought i was invisible. My anxiety could not take any more i walked out. Enough is enough

Awful customer service, unqualified assistant assessing patients and sending them away without being seen by a pharmacist.The ‘can’t be bothered’ attitude and condescending demeanour isn’t doing them any favours. Avoid

I've come to notice that with this pharmacy everytime I order a repeat prescription from my doctor and they give me a day to pick up from well its never ready or three days and still not processed and everytime I have no medication left then I have to put up with side effects. They need to speed up

My partner was refused help from every other pharmacy and gp for their severe tonsillitis as there weren't registered with a gp at the time. They couldn'tget any help anywhere, but this team were amazing and so efficient with helping them get tested, providing an amazingly kind and empathic service with a practitioner who took the time to go through things thoroughly and took their concerns seriously. I cannot recommend this service enough.

Friendly, efficient service from all staff. The pharmacist Andy delivers a caring, personalised service. The pharmacy can be crowded at certain times because it is directly next to the surgery (so convenient!) but the staff try hard to minimise any waiting time.Marielle Evans
