Nice place, clean and tidy. It was quite when I visited but the atmosphere was pleasant and quirky. Service was prompt and polite. Prices are reasonable.Perfectly pleasant place to stop for a tea, sandwich or cafe!

First impressions were that Tanya's was like an Oasis at the side of the A30. Pleasantly decorated and the Cakes looked delicious. As we'd already eaten, we just had three Coffees to take away. Two Flat Whites and a White Americano. I can honestly say that they were the worst Coffees we have ever had. Too hot, tasteless and a weakness only achieved by wafting Coffee beans over hot water. Normally I wouldn't waste something I had paid a premium for but it was totally obnoxious and toe curling.......

Well all I'm going to say is I live a few miles away and pass the place most weeks! Heading out on a road trip last week with two mates we pulled in looking for breakfast! The first thing Tanya said even beforewe asked! when she came out from the kitchen was I don't do Breakfasts! OK! ended up with 2 coffee's and a tea

Moody staff, vile, weak, tepid, expensive excuse for coffee. £7.90. Do me a favour!You would at least think Tanya would be happy the amount of money she’s fleecing off customers with her absurd prices.

Awful coffee, ignored and left waiting. Eventuallywalked in, not a word of acknowledgement. Gut feeling leave now, wish I had and save myself wasting £7.50.1 Cake was bitter and just plain unpleasant. 1 Coffee lacked any coffee.Save your money and time for a business that's makes an effort! Greggs 10-15 mins up the road (either way), 1 mins off A30 lots of parking.

I wouldn’t mind spending £18 for 2 pasties a sausage roll and a cake, but I would expect the food at that price to be edible if not great… absolute rip off

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a couple of years but the reviews put me off. Finally tried yesterday for a midmorning coffee and cake despite those reviews. Loved it. It’s quirky and interesting inside, the coffee and the cake were really good, and the toilets not as bad as people make out. I think we were lucky that we turned up when drinks were being prepared for other people but after us the server disappeared out the back and several other people came and went without being served. Definitely worth it for the experience and, as I said, cake was delicious
