Food was delicious off the carvery. Good selection of vegetables, all well cooked plus the chef was generous with the meat. My only gripe was the waitress kept approaching the table to clear before I'd finished, I'm a slow eater and didn't want to leave anything. After she had cleared the table while we were chatting before ordering dessert we were told that we'd got five minutes before they needed the table. We had been there 1.5 hours but were not told there was a time limit when ordering or booking and so we couldn't have dessert, more drinks or coffee and had to leave. I appreciate they were busy and I've since been back as the food is so good but I think it is a good idea to let people know there is a time limit on the table at busy times.

Was going to Beefeater by Sainsbury, but couldn't get a table, maybe Harvester, thought about the Barley Mow in Studley, ended up going here, as we've had a Carvery in the past, which is top notch by the way. Well glad we did, cos the breakfast was lovely, all quality items, cooked nicely and well presented. The service was excellent and friendly, the manager gave us a extra round of teas also. Definitely our go to place for breakfast!

Not been for ages, the foods great!!You cant beat a Sunday lunch... especially a carvery.Inside had a revamp and is a lovely eccletric decor.I've been all over looking for the best roast beef dinner, as far as having good meat and tasty vegetables, this place gives you that. You can choose from pork, beef, turkey, or gammon and even lamb for a few extra pounds. Add to that the vast choice of fresh vegetables and roasted potatoes or mash and a drizzle of gravy with a big yorkshire pudding!Good value for money at £12.95 for standard or £14.95 for a go large size.If you have room, there are desserts and ice cream. The staff were friendly and welcoming with great service too. There's plenty of parking in the car park, it's also dog or summer friendly with the outside seating.

Came here as a last minute booking. We were visiting family in the Midlands. The best carvery I have ever had, I've had quite a few. The variety of vegetables was a huge tick, the meat was cooked beautifully, the roast potatoes didn't look great but wow they tasted amazing. The chef happily supplied us with crackling.Oh gosh, I'm still thinking about this carvery, we visited 2 days ago. Will definitely revisit when next in the area

My friend and I both had carvery. She had beef and turkey, which she said was nice. I had beef and pork, and was good. Yorkie and stuffing were a bit overcooked. Desserts of sticky toffee pudding and raspberry/choc cheesecake went down a treat. Overall a good lunch, and quite reasonably priced.

Great portion of beefHowever mash tasted like a baked potato had a glue like texture. Savoy cabbage and colcannon mash had a off taste. It tasted that badI had to scrape it off my plateA little more attention to detail and this place could be a big hit

Food were good, pretty fresh roasted assortment of meat along with season vegetables.Gravy were very tasty and mash wasn’t dry.Not a lot to say about the food as it’s very standard carvery but still good value for money as it’s £7.99 for cravry or £9.99 for meal and desert.Dog friendly but only on the outside seating area.If you fine this review useful please give a thumbs up, will greatly appreciated and keep the review going ❤️
