A team of true professionals who made saying goodbye to my husband a positive experience. Truly dignified, a caring team of compassionate people who understand exactly what is necessary to enable things to go smoothly. I loved the traditional element of our funeral director. I really felt that he was taking us all in his arms to help us with this difficult time. It is clear there is a wealth of experience with this team. They make it truly personal, take an interest in you as people, and know just how to help things along. I would recommend this company gladly.

It seems strange and sad writing a review for funeral directors but I feel I must for Lawrences because they were outstanding in their care for me and my beloved mum after her death. Mark explained in detail everything that would happen. He was very patient and thorough. And also very kind. There was a pack of forget-me-not flowers in the pack I received and I thought they would be a good idea for the kids to have to grow and remember mum. I rang to see if they could sell me some and a lovely lady (sorry I didn’t get your name) said she would see if they had anymore. They did so she offered to send me a few packs out. She said there was no cost and they arrived through my letterbox the next day! On the day of the funeral they had made my favourite picture of mum bigger and put it in a frame. It travelled in the hearse with her and I thought it was a beautiful touch. It was also lovely to be able to put it on the memory table we had arranged at the Wake. Mark rang the day before to confirm all of the details and check I was ok. And everything happened exactly as he said it would. A huge thanks to everyone there for making everything easy and comfortable for me at a time when my head was all over the place.

From the initial phone call, after my Hubby passed away, to the after care, as been outstanding.All the team that I spoke to were Caring, Helpful, compassionate and respectful etc.Thank you to Donald, who opened up, during a very busy Christmas out of hours, so we could visit my Hubby, sitting and chatting with myself and family,A special mention to Mark,Mark came to collect my Hubby, Guided me through the hardest time in my life with choices etc, Mark was always there at the end of a phone or email (there was a lot!) He dealt quickly with any technical issues (webcast)I appreciated the continuity of Mark been there from the start to after the funeral.The whole team are excellent.Thank you. Ann-marie

As a family we would like to thank Janine Shepperd and all the staff at Lawrence Funeral Directors for their kindness, help and support after the loss of our mother. We were able to have a chat and talk though options and given time to have a think about what we would want. It was extremely helpful to receive a information pack to take home and read it at our leisure. Janine wrote a list of options to think about as a family and was always happy to respond to any questions we had. Having had no previous experience in this area some questions did sound a little silly such as, Mum was always cold, so should I put her a vest on in the coffin? I was told there is no right or wrong way, there is just what you feel is the right thing to do. This gave us confidence to think about what mum would like. The Funeral was organised just how mum would have liked it and we were all very grateful for the wealth of expertise shown.Thank you again Ann Lawler and Family.

Lovely service. Very professional and ran smoothly. Everything was dealt with with a lot of empathy and understanding which must be difficult to do due to the nature of the job when dealing with bereaved families. Special mention to Janine Shepherd who was absolutely fantastic. We've used Lawrence for other previous family funerals, and will continue to use them in the future. Thank you.

From start to finish we couldn't have asked for more from Lawrence's. The whole team were very understanding and nothing, however small. was too much trouble. The communication was great and were constantly in touch to see how we were doing and asking if they could do anything else. Really helped to give Mom the send off she deserved. For some reason or other it seems strange leaving a review for a funeral home, however I feel its important now more thank ever in the world of technology we live in.From the moment that we made contact with Lawrence's and the team we felt that as a family we and our late mother were treat with the upmost respect care and dignity throughout, right from the first meeting with Glen to discuss the details of the day and mums details while she was in there care from the day itself Glen and the team did the most amazing job with no detail left unturned, on the day itself the weather wasn't the best but this didn't stop the team from making sure that mum went on her journey in style, Glen leading the cars and the drivers doing a sterling job. Lawrence Funeral Directors did my mums funeral on the 29th March. Everyone commented on how beautiful the horse & carriage was, we couldn't be happier with the service we received that day. Also while my mum was in their parlour they took great care of her. I would personally recommend Lawrence to anyone. An amazing company who have been going for many years.

Lawrence's are an absolutely amazing team of kind, compassionate and empathetic people. They recently took great care of my baby nephew Jakob Jai and helped and guided me in arranging his funeral on behalf of my sister. Communication was 100% throughout the whole process and the dignity and respect they gave to baby Jakob was second to non. Lawrence's are absolutely outstanding and I would like to give special mentions to both Rebecca who always greeted us like we were part of that family and was absolutely amazing with Jakob's cousins, exploring the beautiful grounds of Lawrence's and providing them with drinks and sweets. Secondly to Donald who went above and beyond to ease the burden in any way he could. Donald was a massive support in the most tragic of circumstances. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of Jakob's Mummy and Daddy. You ladies and gentlemen are truly amazing and we will never forget the journey you all shared with us xx
