Jappacakes

A massive thank you to Laura and the team for the beautiful cake they made for our wedding day. It was stunning and exactly what we'd hoped for. The sample box we were provided with was really helpful and everything tasted amazing. Laura helped us design our cake and the flowers they chose were perfect! All of our guests said how delicious it was and one of the best they have had. Highly recommended.

When planning our wedding, the cake was one of the last things I thought of. We knew we wanted something different, old worldly and timeless. We got engaged in Venice and married in a castle. The design Jappacakes had was unlike anything I had seen and was absolutely perfect! It tasted fabulous too. Thank you all so much!

We ordered a cake for our wedding in September from Jappacakes and it was absolutely fantastic. Communication was great throughout and they were so helpful in terms of helping with the design of the cake and also sending out the sample box of flavours to choose from. The cake looked (and tasted!) amazing and we are so glad we chose them for our special day. Thank you!

Ordered 24 cupcakes as previous baker let me down! I can’t recommend this baker enough! The cupcakes were amazing, all our guests commented on them and I will definitely return! Thanks very much Gayle they we’re fabulous!!

I ordered a custom made birthday cake. It was ready in time and looked quite good. It was in a nice cake box. The customer service was fine. . All excellent.I have edited this review as previously I had said the happy birthday sign melted. This was my mistake as I thought it was made of icing or food stuff but was actually cardboard plus I had many candles around it . This was my mistake . Excellent store.

The best wedding cake ever!!!! We loved it as did all our guests! From booking at the wedding show with a wee discount, to taster box, creating our design to delivery and set up, all completely flawless from Jappacakes. We highly recommend Laura and her team. We originally met with Jappacakes in February 2019 where we began the design for our Harry Potter themed wedding cake, planned for August 2020. The world had other ideas and finally in August 2022 we celebrated our wedding.We had several conversations with Jappacakes and another planning meeting earlier this year and they completely 'got' what we wanted. At times we struggled for ideas, but they guided us and we got to a design we were really happy with.We knew it was going to be good, but WOW... we, along with all our guests (and a few hundred people on social media once the picture was shared by our wedding venue!) were absolutely blown away by the final result. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding cake. The detail was incredible, it was beautifully crafted and the skill and passion that went into it was so evident through its total perfection.I'm not one to cry at physical things, but I walked into the room after it had been delivered and couldn't hold back the tears, it was absolutely incredible. It also tasted AMAZING and kept fresh for ages.We can't thank you enough for exceeding our expectations and making the most breathtaking cake. You are truly skilled and not only that, you're absolutely lovely people!!Thank you again, so much.

I met Jappacakes at the SECC Wedding fayre in 2019 and spotted the cake we wanted. We ordered it there and then, we then had a cake testing and the problem we had choosing flavours as they were all delicious. Roll onto last Saturday the cake was delivered and set up and we were not disappointed. Everyone enjoyed the cake the tiers all had different flavours and the best bit the children loved the hidden back very happy to recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding cake.
