Krates Local Kingsthorpe

Really not happy with the gentleman serving in the shop. My daughter ( who I must admit is being a bit of a tear away at the moment) has not been home for the last 5 hours when she was supposed to be. I received a phone call from a friend to say they had just seen her coming out of Krates local with a bottle of vodka!! She is 15!!! I immediately rang to ask them why they had served her to be told sorry I haven’t been here long!! Obviously she wasn’t asked for id as she is 15 and doesn’t have any! I asked to speak to who is charge to be told the boss is at the cash and carry! At 20:00!! Absurd! Luckily said friend managed to convince my daughter to get in the car with her so she is safe and sound now but could have been a whole different story due to incompetence of the staff. Some serious training needs to be done on licensing objectives.

My daughter had her credit card stolen by someone who the used it here. She has the contactless limit set to £50 thankfully the helpful shopkeeper allowed the thief to make 4 purchases of £50 each. When I phoned to ask them to save the CCTV footage for the police, they hung up on me. Draw your own conclusions.
