Overall my experience using smart repairs was very dismal at best.After having my car booked in for month prior I had arrived to be greeted with what I can only describe as a very unhappy person who really needs to look at retirement. His attitude was just awfull and made me feel somewhat uncomfortable. He should take a good long hard look at how he presents himself and how he talks to customers. At the end of the day its who you depend on to put food on your table.Also things like putting your notepad down on customers bonnets is just not appropriate, very unprofessional.Moving onto the work done I am actually a bit shocked with the poor paint job giving the good reviews this body shop had. There is a bad reaction in the paint, there are many foreign objects through the paint and I can clearly see the sand paper marks where its been rubbed back. The plastic weld on one of the bumper mounts looks as if a dog has chewed it! Its really not good enough, certainly not worth the money I paid.I would kick up and complain however I don't want them near any of my cars again giving my experience. I'll cut my losses now and move on. I will be going else where as the whole bumper will need removed and painted properly by professionals. I will mske make sure the next body shop is aware who and where the bodged one was painted.Very poor experience all round.The only good I can point out was the younger chap who works for the garage was very nice to deal with on collecting the car.I think smart repairs are more focused on doing quick blow over repairs for people who wouldn't know what to look for in a good paint job.I have attached pictures of the terrible paint job in question.The bumper has genuinely came back in worse condition than in was before being painted at smart repairs.With being a car collector i am part of many car clubs and groups and these photos of the work will be shared with many others. I would not trust you guys to paint a wheelie bin now never mind peoples pride and joys that are worth alot of money.Shame on you!Thanks for nothing smart repairs!

Used them twice for repair and also for advice. Excellent business - quality, price and service. Used by my own main dealer for minor repairs so that says it all

If you are looking for friendly, helpful service , go somewhere else. The guy is one of the rudest and most arrogant people you will come across.

Avoid at all cost.Took my car in to get the bonnet repaired by Mark. There was a dent on the line of the bonnet and I was advised due to this it would involve respraying the whole bonnet and blending both wings. Got the car back to find what appeared to be dirt etc trapped under the paint on the bonnet and the passenger side wing not blended to match the bonnet. Also found damage to the inside of my bonnet where they have had something in one of the holes to push the dent out. Went in today to speak to Mark explaining to him my findings to which his response was if I'm that fussy he won't work on it. Rather than taking responsibility for the flaws in his work he threw a strop and walked away. He has had a lot of money out of me as a returning customer and as soon as I have pointed something out I wasn't satisfied with this is what has happened. Will never be using this company again after experiencing the lack of professionalism from Mark.

Couldn't reccomend this place enough. Mark sorted out some scratches on my car that had been left when someone hit it in a carpark. Great work, couldn't tell the difference from new even though it was a VW paint colour that I was told could only get fixed by VW for a much higher quote!
