Guitar Man

Leo saved the day! I'd bought a new Musicman Stingray and popped it to Leo to set it up properly after hearing good things about him. After he gave it a good look over, Leo actually discovered that the neck of the guitar wasn't true! His knowledge allowed me to return the guitar to the shop to discover the guitar actually had a slightly dubious past! On to the next purchase, a vintage pre Ernie Ball 79 Stingray that I bought next and again I popped it along to Leo who again found a couple of things that really shouldn't have been present on such a guitar. His knowledge about guitars and guitar building is a joy to listen to and its comforting to know people with this amount of knowledge and skill are still out there. He's an all round lovely-friendly bloke to have a general chit chat with about all things music, he's a very approachable individual. Im on to my third bass now and I think I've now hit the Goldilocks sweet-spot after a few tweaks from Leo after him casting his eye on it. Thinking back to the original Stingray, i'd still be struggling with it had I not called him!! Leo repaired and set up my son's 22 year old Jackson guitar and it not only looks new but plays as a new guitar. Superb job Leo, if you want your guitar renovated (he does major rebuilds as well), repaired or simply set up talk to this man, highly recommended and a good price too. Thank you.

Leo gave my Ibanez RG550 a much needed setup and it now plays better than ever. He was also able to remove a hum caused by a faulty input jack, all at a great price and really quickly. I will certainly use him again and highly recommend him to anyone needing any work done.

Leo repaired a guitar for me and once I got it back you wouldn't have known it was ever damaged. Amazing craftsmanship at a very reasonable price and to top it off he is a really honest genuine bloke who knows his stuff. Top man!

Brought mu electro acoustic in for a set up and loose jack. It's a parlour style acoustic as well so absolutely no way to get to the jack through the sound hole. After set up I got back what sounded like a much more expensive guitar than I had. Nice chat with Leo as well. Would definstely recommend the guitar man's work, truly the work of a professional!

I have a much cherished Washburn 6 sting acoustic that was loooong overdue a string change. After I managed to break one of the pegs in the process, I decided it was above my pay grade and gave Leo a call. Not only did he do a sterling job of the tricky string change, but he lowered the action at the bridge for me. My lovely Washburn is better than new and I'm playing more than ever thanks to the changes. What a star. Cheers Leo.

I’m very impressed with the work Leo has done on my beloved strat. He replaced a corroded jack socket, re-fretted the neck and hard tailed the bridge. I was expecting a typical setup for the price! He’s a lovely fella and I’d highly recommend him to anyone. Top man!

Leo is a miracle worker. I took a chunk out of the neck of my Les Paul and thought it would never be the same again. A week later and you literally would never know it had happened - an absolutely perfect repair.Highly recommended and a thoroughly nice guy too.

Leo is not only a great guitar technicion, but a realy friendly and helpful guy. I took him my cheap strat copy to get the nut filed and adjusted, he did a full setup and adjustment, it was ready the next morning and all done at a realy good price. I now have a good playable, low action, that stays in tune all the way up the neck. Thank you very much.
