I had a really great time at a raku day a few weeks ago - in fact, I am going back next month! Richard is very knowledgable, which makes the day informative. You also get to take home quite a few pieces, so it overall is a very satisfying day! This is a great thing for anyone interested in pottery (experienced or not!).

My partner booked a surprise pottery throwing and hand crafting day with Richard and we both loved it! Richard is very knowledgable and we met some lovely fellow pottery enthusiasts, can’t wait to go back!

What a fabulous day today with Richard Gibson. As total beginners my Husband Bob who has dementia and myself have been able to experience the art of wheel throwing and handbuilding. Looking forward to returning to glaze our pots in 4-5 weeks time. We cannot recommend Richards tuition and patience highly enough. We will be back. Thank you.

Myself and my daughter enjoyed a wonderful three hour session in which we ‘attempted’ to make a variety of objects. Richard shares his knowledge and skills in an approachable manner being considerate that we all learn in different ways.Would recommend 100%.

Absolutely brilliant day. Richard is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive, no matter what skill or experience level you have. Met some lovely people in the group and came home with some really lovely prices. I booked this after attending a pottery throwing morning course, which was also fantastic. So, I would highly recommend Richard's courses.

Such a great experience! We were looking to learn and experience something new and going here did not disappoint. We have now had two courses here and I cannot be happier.I highly recommend taking the Raku course, even though we did really love our time on the wheel and hand-building experiences too. Each are so unique and give a different outcome.

My friend and I had the best time pottery throwing. Richard was very accommodating on dates both of the session and our follow up one. He’s a very good teacher, amazingly patient and supportive when help is needed. So pleased that we chose Potterydayz!

We booked a pottery day experience as part of my daughter's hen weekend. We had an amazing time! Richard is an excellent teacher and very personable - we loved the whole day. We did throwing in the morning which was hilarious, but we all managed to produce three pots each despite never doing it before. The afternoon was a relaxing hand building session and we all produced fabulous pots.I can highly recommend Richard for a fantastic day out.
