Thought I'd pop in and try out as I've read the other reviews and they seemed ok, but alas..................don't think I'll be going back.Ok we're in tier 2 at the mo and things aren't as they used to be so a little of understanding from me, but when you walk in and there's only two of you in the queue and after 10 minutes of waiting without being ackknowleged is a bit much.The bloke in front was served with a Lunchtime Cod n Chips and he left, as soon as he did the lady behind the counter said Oh better get on with the click n collect orders" and so she did. That would've been fine with me

Overpriced. Very small portion of large chips, small and large cod same size. Flat, little fish and not very tasty. My son enjoyed the battered sausage. Will stick with Corringham chippy in future.

Wasn't the best of chip shops.Unfortunately the chips were abit too oily and the sausages/savaloy was over cooked/dry as anything.Shame really as they used to be lovely there a year or two ago.

If you love dry flavourless sharp edged chips this is the place for you £2.99 regular chips is a joke! Usually go kingfisher but it's shut making way for the Codfather, but thought I would give it a go, never again!

I did have half chicken and chips Wednesday special as me and my mum love it the chicken falls off the bone and good value for money but they have something for everyone it's has always been first class here and has been there for ages cause that's how nice the place is

Just had cod & chips delivered for the first time. Very prompt delivery, excellent freshly cooked food. Very helpful staff when I spoke to them lunchtime and on the phone this afternoon. Can highly recommend, will definitely be using again.

If I could attach the photo there would be no words needed!! Huge portion of the best tasting cod and chips. The only downside is I couldn't eat it all lol

Staff couldn’t be more helpful. A mistake was made when I ordered, but despite the error being mine, they helped me to sort it.Friendly people, great food and a spotless establishment. Can’t ask for more.
