Pitsford Fishery

Very very weedy, stopped for an overnighter, over the 2 days we were there we counted 30+ rods in the water and nobody caught anything. £30 each for overnight and lost endless rigs due to snagging - not for us this place

Lovely fishery really well looked after and the owner is a pleasure to talk to , really enjoyed my 24hr session there with my 2 boy's I will be back

Lovely, if occasionally challenging, spot to fish! Fish well stocked and in great condition. Still need to catch me one of the huge catfish in there!

Well looked after on site. Owner(s) are very nice. Fish are big and look great. Site is easily accessible all the way round and is well maintained. 100% worth a visit.

Great place, lovely setting, quiet and well looked after. Also constantly improving every time we go. Owners are great, and the fishing is excellent with some verified monsters in there. Loads of pegs to fish and plenty in between. Handy toilet and changing cabin too. It's one lake but with a range of features and depths catering to all sorts of fishing. Keep going back for more and never disappointed.

Wsnt for a night. No problems at all. Didnt catch but that didnt bother me. Few weeks later booked the whole lake out for myself and my mates. Turned up at 1pm as told everyone would be gone from 12pm. But they wasnt. There was about 5 other anglers. When i spoke to the lady she said they had paid to stay till the evening. So left us with no real swims to fish at and it would cut into our time by 4 to 5 hours. So we just left. Upset me because the anglers werent told they had to be gone. I think if you say you can offer a service like exclusivity you should honour it and let all anglers prior know they have to be gone by that time. However that was near the start and everything has hiccups. So i am willing to give it another shot now and go back. Just hope its changed for the better as the lady that runs it seems lovely. So i will be visiting again this year. But i wont be pre booking. So if i turn up and its full i wont be disapointed.

Bit unfortunate that my self, my dad and our friend wanted to go fishing at the place. Upon arriving on the gate it asked to make a appointment to fish, we called up the number and a kind lady answered, we got into a conversation about us fishing today and she told us that she will come down and talk to us. She came to the gate and we started speaking, she was really kind and randomly asked us if we were Eastern European which I responded to “yes we are from Poland” she replied with something alone the lines of “this may sound rude and embarrassing but I can’t let you guys in because we had many problems before with Eastern European people, I understand that people are different however we don’t want to have any more incidents as people from Eastern Europe stole thousands of pounds worth of fish and that we are on the edge of closing” we understand that they may had issues before and that it had an impact however it is also considered racism which we have received and has upset us all and unfortunately we were unable to fish due to where we came from.

Been there once and really disappointed with the fishing water

A magical lake with enormous monsters in its depths! A truly special place to fish. The Carp are so colourful and in excellent condition, a fishermans dream to see them take floating bread in the shallows.... they are very clever though!! The small catfish are amazing fun in the summer and the chance of a 70lb plus is yours for the taking! The grounds are well kept and set in a stunning location, you can tell the place very cared for. Jan is always an amazing host, she is very friendly and always happy to help. I hope to be sitting on its banks once again soon!

Lovely little lake packed with some beautiful fish there are some amazing carp in here aswel as some big cats. The lake is looking amazing at the min the hard work that the owners have put in is really starting to show. I'm already looking forward to my next trip here
