Building the Dream

This builder is one in a million. After an absolutely horrendous time with a cowboy builder who turned out to be a convicted fraudster this builder Fatlum was recommended to us. We went to another happy customer to see what work he had done in her house 3 yrs previous and we were impressed with what we saw and crucially she was still happy with his work. 3 yrs on. When he started sorting out our 5 m single floor extension he and his team were punctual, worked hard, were extremely well organised, polite, quiet , hardworking clean and out neighbours constantly commented on how good they were.when we left the house. Fatlum and his team were trust worthy and worked to a very high standard throughout. 6 months later after very heavy rain storms and 3 skylights on the roof we are still cosy, watertight and living the dream. We’ve had him back to do other work for us since and will do again. What I would also like to add here is that if anyone reading this would like to see his work let us know because we think builders like him should get the work and not the cowboys. The team fitted herringbone flooring, oak skirting boards and architrave in our dining room and quartz tiling on our kitchen floor.They were hardworking, organised and focused. The attention to detail was impeccable. We would definitely recommend this company and would use them again for future work.

We cannot recommend this builder highly enough: impeccable workmanship, with attention to the finest detail; punctual and hardworking, respectful of property, and always tidy; willing to suggest ideas based on his extensive experience, yet always attentive to requests.Due to previous bad builder experiences, we were reluctant to repair our dilapidated garage, but when we were left with no choice, builders we contacted either didn’t show up, or didn’t follow up with a price. A friend recommended this builder - she praised him so highly it seemed too good to be true, but as soon as we met Fatlum, we trusted him, and our original intention of a quick roof replacement evolved into a full garage conversion. He quoted an honest and reasonable price, suggested ideas (some of which we now realise we couldn’t have lived without), kept to his start date, and updated us on progress throughout. Fatlum and his team take great pride in their work, and won’t rest until they and the customer are completely satisfied. The room he has built is far beyond our original expectations, and our only regret is we didn’t have his contact a decade ago.We’ve had him back for two carpentry jobs - bespoke units, and new internal doors, which were completed to the highest level of craftsmanship, and we look forward to commissioning Fatlum and his team for future projects.
