We’ve been with this company for about 11 years and i can’t speak highly enough about the quality and standard of service that we have received. Andy came today to carry out a service and was totally professional and efficient.

Avoid this company. They coerced my elderly mother into signing an expensive contract for equipment she didn't want or need & the very pushy sales rep left with a cheque in his hand. The contract is now cancelled but the woman on the phone had clearly heard it all before & didn't give a toss about the behaviour of their staff.

Not had a problem yet with the system...However I do agree with all the 1 star reviews. They do not keep to what they tell you at first point of contact. They tell you whatever you want to hear as long as it results in a sale. Ongoing fees are extortionate, I purchased at the ideal Home show, no prefit survey or cooling off period given. Total rip off. Avoid....

AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!!!Over priced out of date systems. Broke after 14 months. Was quoted over £300 for a £10 key fob. Wasn’t given the price over the phone after multiple calls and was told an engineer would have to visit. Unsurprisingly the salesman came with a very pushy attitude trying to sell us an extended warranty for £1200. Salesman also told us the system we haves parent company had gone bust so they couldn’t support it and we’d have to buy a new system. Wrote to the managing director 3 times with no reply or response at all. As stated, totally avoid! Only interested in making money, no regard for customers at all.. *UPDATE* Having emailed, rang and written to them all with no response, the day after writing this review they make a “courtesy call” saying they’d like to turn this 1 Star review into a 5 star and would call me the following day. Rather unsurprisingly they didn’t and I haven’t heard from them since. The operations managers idea of fixing this review and making things better, almost like a gesture of goodwill, was to sell me something. The level of service really is terrible. ACT is a company that we found to be 100% reliable, polite and trust worthy. We would recommend them to friends and family and anyone who asked. We have had CCTV installed with good coverage brilliant picture and a very polite engineer.

new alarm system installed because old one had been bought out (the company) and was not for reparable. Nice guy did the install, my mind is now at piece knowing that my home is now fully secured when I'm home and also away.

UpdateWe have been in communication with A.C.T over the problems we experienced and they have been very active in sorting out the system. Good communication, a further site visit to check the equipment and ongoing support. It looks like they have clarified and improved their service information and customer support. We look forward to a continued good relationship with them.Original ReviewOnly after purchasing and installation did we become aware that there is a data restriction on recording hence the system stops recording midway through the month. This was not mentioned when we signed up. Hit and miss recording when people come onto the property and never resets meaning you can see someone approach and then .... nothing ! No idea of what they did next, not great for a security system. They are not upfront in what service they will actually provide. Also it doesn't bode well when you contact them to cancel and complain and have absolutely no response from them.

We were contacted by the company to alert us to the need for a change of SIM card in the system. The engineer Gary arrived punctually at the arranged time and was thoroughly pleasant throughout the visit. The prescribed work was completed efficiently then Gary spent time installing and demonstrating how to use all elements of the mobile app. He was an absolute star!

John was Very patient when installing our new system and was very thorough.

Just had a alarm system installed by this company, very good service, and very quick service, Curtis the engineer was very polite and professional fully explained the system to me very well. Very pleased with the overall service from this company.
