I rarely write negative reviews. But when I was cheated at the checkout for £ 4 for the 5th time, I realized it wasn't an accident, it's a pattern.In similar stores the nearest, prices are 30% lower, each product has the price tags and cashiers don't cheat!

Expensive as gold and some of the products are or expired or stored incorrectly so pretty useless. But sometimes I need to buy from there as I can't always drive to the one in granton.

I understand that at the end of a long year people are tired of the pandemic and all the safety measures, but I was shocked to see that in this shop they weren't even trying. No hand sanitiser, no social distancing whatsoever, no masks and to top it off a very friendly member of staff was coming right up to people's faces. This sort of negligence is very disappointing, considering how much effort has been put into fighting COVID-19! Apart from that the shop has a good variety of stuff and staff were happy to help me find what I was looking for. Products were a bit overpriced. I would've enjoyed shopping there a much more if there was a bit more respect shown for the safety precautions. If you are in a health risk group avoid at all costs!

£4,99 for a cabbage...it might be the most amaizing in the world. £1.50 something for garlic. I came out feeling stupid... Of course no refund money offered as you have paid by card" so I have to rush and swap my "magic" cabbage for sweet treats.I am a local in Gorgie and this is my very last experience there

I used to like this store as it always offered a big selection of goods, but £21.99 for 100g of salmon caviar is ridiculous. Especially when there's no price visible. When I realised the price after purchasing and asked to return it because it was too expensive, I got told it's not possible because of covid. After enquiring why they never told me what the price was, the response was 'you never asked'. Will not be coming back again.

These people do not take returns, last week I made a purchase and 2 hours later I returned for a return when I realized what I had left over at home and the staff says that if I had paid in cash they could see if I could return the money. I m coming to Citizen Advice to report the situation.

I have been over charged by £2. I have only released when I got home and checked the receipt.Also As mentioned before always check the date on the products.There are other good polish shops in the area. Please don't spend your money here !!!
