Alan was so helpful fixing our dishwasher and skirting board for us, and making sure that our extractor fan would get fixed asap! Lovely man and couldn’t do enough for us

Just an honest review-House is nice, but there’s some things that are issues..We viewed the property several times as we were unsure about the property and the lack of space as there was only one not so big fridge freezer for a house of six. We were promised by the person doing the viewing that we could actually request another one and they would be happy to do this. Well we paid, moved in and all the rest of it, requested one several times and have refused to pointblank. Even their own staff visiting the property have said they think us having only one is unsuitable. There’s only 3 of us living here and it’s jammed full (yet they say you must de-thaw it, which will be impossible with a jammed freezer). The rest of the group who move in are going to have nowhere to put anything and we are really disappointed for this misleading information in a bid to make us book the property. This is just a bit general, the rooms are lovely but the grey in the rooms makes it kind of dull, I think it would be nicer if it was a different colour because you kinda need the lights on or it looks quite dark.Maintenance are fast to respond and very friendly generally.House is in a good location.Moving in day could have went smoother it was stressful to find out what to do.Other properties had better facilities for the same price or even less in cost, which I found quite confusing. When you calculate how much they make in total from the property you’d assume they would at least want to make the facilities match it, it’s quite upsetting. If you asked if I would stay with student cribs next year, I don’t think I would say yes unless they actually made changes that they promised.EDIT - I forgot to add this but the WiFi connection is horrendous, like it’s so poor it disconnects you all the time and even the TVs wifi doesn’t work. I have been on 4G constantly for ages. I also tried to put the heating on once and the radiators didn’t even feel like they were warming up much, confused about that

Avoid at all costs. They owed us a one month rent re-fund and it took over 2 months to receive the money. We emailed them over and over and called them countless times over the two months only to be told every time that the money would be sent next day and we would receive a call back. This never happened!Find a different letting agent. They will make it as difficult as possible to receive money they owe you to the point where it is evident they are holding onto funds for as long as possible for their own benefit.

Avoid Student Cribs!!! Upon arrival this July, the house was dirty, infested with wood lice and the garden was over grown. There is still uneven concrete. Our front door had a 1.5 inch gap above and below it.

We have had over 80 maintenance issues going in from July to October - proof can be provided. We currently have 2 ongoing leaks in our house and are experiencing frequent power cuts - we were told to ‘stop calling every two minutes’ despite our kitchen and a bedroom have leaks by lights and plug sockets. Student cribs only advice was to use a bucket rather than pots and pans - failing to provide us with said bucket.4 bedrooms have serious mould issues with wet walls, posing a risk to health. We have been informed by the contractor our walls are going to have to be stripped to brick leaving the rooms uninhabitable; no alternate accommodation has been offered. We are yet to know when we shall have to move out. It has been over 5 weeks and there has still been no action taken. We are all getting ill from this.We have had someone today to see the leak (23/10) yet no action has been taken - the contractor himself was HORRIFIED.We have been offered no compensation as of yet and are only having some traction due to our reviews. Unfortunately we’re taking the legal route as of yet.

Student cribs treatment has been and continues to be frankly unacceptable. AVOID AT ALL COSTS - the regional manager (J Britton) is extremely hostile and will tell you that you're expecting too much when you simply want a habitable house. We are paying £155 and this is unbelievably being increased to £175 next year. Do NOT sign with student cribs.

Avoid student cribs at all costs. When moving into this property in July we discovered that the house was very dirty and also had a serious woodlouse infestation. Over the last few months we have had over 85 maintenance requests including water damage, severe mould, and leaking roofs. My housemates and I have also experiences our belongings growing mould due to the extent of the damp problem and we also experience frequent power cuts on top of the many other issues. When contacting student cribs about these issues we have been met with a hostile and unhelpful response. As of today we are still living with severe mould and leaking roofs with no communication as to when they will be fixed. This treatment is absolutely unacceptable and has affected not only our mental health but also our physical health due to the mould.Do not sign onto a property with student cribs.

We rented with Baskeys for a few years, who were then taken over by Student Cribs. Our experience with Student Cribs has been great since the beginning of tenancy - any issues were resolved really quickly, and we've really enjoyed our time in our flat. Big shout out to Kay, who was always happy to help and sorted out anything we needed.
