Large carpark slightly downhill. Lovely view of reservoir very quiet while I was there. No facilities only a rubbish bin. Walks in the forest and along the lake.

Seagahan Dam is a beautiful part of the world. First class trout fishing for Rainbow and Brown trout and stunning sunsets. The new trail enables walkers and cyclists to circumnavigate the lake with each lap being 2.25mls.Wildlife is abundant with many bird species always on view.Certainly well worth a visit.

Great trout fishery stocked with rainbow and brown trout. Permitted fishing only day tickets and licences available at Procastangling fishing stores in Armagh.

Beautiful tranquil place to chill and relax. Picnic benches/bins are in the carpark but there are no public toilets.

Seagahan Reservoir
A disappointing experience. There are no signposts enroute directing visitors to the car park. There are no waymarks to the path. The gravel path is a linear walk through the wooded area only. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.Should you wish to circumnavigate the reservoir a lot of road walking is required because there is no path around the majority of it.There was a lot of dog fouling and rubbish. The car park itself was clean and has picnic benches. If you wish to view the reservoir from here, it is a pleasant view.I can't comment on the fishing but it certainly seemed popular with fisherman..I do not recommend this place as somewhere to visit if you are travelling specifically to walk around it.

Great for fishing, walking and dog walking. Has signs along the pathway with information about the damb It also has seats along the pathway as well. (Also I am the creator of the google maps location because there was only the water treatment plant.)
