Bargain Booze

Do not often go here, but had an unexpected celebration, walked as I do not live far. Arrived to find the door locked so I rang the bell. Staff member arrived at the door only to say they were closed. I checked my watch and it was only just on 9pm. She said she had already cashed up!!! So they closed at 8.50. Not 9pm. Their loss as I bought 4 bottles of champagne from our local Co Op.

Excellent selection of wines and beers and spirits also good variety of food for sale from cereals to frozen food

I went into bargain boooze yesterday at approx 6.15 pm... 18/05 there was a member of staff being interrogated by a senior member of staff at the till in front of customers..The assistant was called Jennifer and the senior assistant was belittling Jennifer in front of customers. I found this very inprofessional and the poor girl looked very embarrassed. This I have seen in this shop more than once and therefore decided to review. Management need to sort this. It really makes me feel like not going back in. I use this store regular and have heard other people also complain about the senior assistant Renee?

Always pleasant & polite staff Plenty of choice & great prices.Can also get a few groceries & lottery too.
