Llechwen Hall Hotel

Beautiful location with a stunning valley views.We stayed in the Coach house, and the room was clean, comfortable and spacious.Llechwen Hall hotel is known to be super pet-friendly, so they do not charge a fee for your pets. They also do not have a size or weight limit. Surrounding area has plenty of places to walk the dogs.Highly recommended!

We stayed for one night, and thought what a great place this hotel is. The staff were really friendly and helpful. There was a wedding taking place when we stayed and yet this had no effect on our stay. Breakfast in the morning was well priced and a very good selection. The view down on the valley is also a great sight to see

I can only describe our experience attending Sunday lunch here as an absolute shambles. From beginning to end there wasn't a single thing that was done correctly. There was a large group of us so some errors could be forgiven but the errors were endless. Firstly our drinks order, 5 out of 9 of us recieved the correct drink. 2 were quickly corrected and the others we let slide and accepted the error. For starters, 5 starters came with 4 of us waiting almost half an hour for ours only for them to be the wrong starter. Bearing in mind the rest of our party had long finished their starter we all accepted the incorrect starter to avoid a further delay. The small piece of toast served with the pate was stale and could crack a tooth it was that hard. The chefs and management should be made to try their own food as I'm sure they wouldn't eat that starter themselves. For main we had tough overcooked meat and minimal undercooked veg with cling film still attached to the serving dish where it had clearly been heated in the microwave. Then things only got worse when it came to dessert. 4 deserts were served before 3 of us had even ordered and our mains plates were still on the table. Some of us gave up and accepted that it wasn't worth even trying to order a dessert whilst others had another half an hour wait for theirs. Eventually we cancelled the order for these and just asked for the bill. The issues continued. For some reason they were having issues printing the bill which was another 30 minute delay, during which the desserts we had cancelled turned up. The bill was wrong with over £30 of additional charges added on. By which point we couldn't laugh about the shambles anymore and asked to speak to a manager. He was helpful but probably should have been present earlier in the service. My final point would be please advise your staff not to put boiling hot pots of tea in front of babies.Wish we hadn't wasted our money or Sunday afternoon.

What can I say about today's santa event other than it was spectacular. Such a well organised event the staff were friendly and attentive. The photographer was good and did not want to rip you off. The santa was something else he was so attentive with the children and spent so much time especially with the ones that were unsure. Facepainting was a special added touch and the food was amazing. We'll done to all for organising I really hope u do it again next year.

Only stayed one night but really loved this place. The location is amazing and the view is beautiful. The staff were warm and very friendly and helpful.We had a lovely meal in the restaurant and a couple of drinks at the bar which were fantastic.The only negatives were that the room was a little noisy, the floorboards in the room and hallway were very creaky and the walls must be thin because we could hear everything from the room next door. Also, the room we were in at the end of the hall had no wifi access, you had to go out into the hall for it to work. Very disappointing as they advertise it as having high speed wifi access.

Stayed for 1 night due to my husbands job, the hotel is beautiful, rooms are clean and with tea and coffee provided. The bed is really comfy especially since I have 2 slipped disks in my spine, I normally hate different beds. We didn't have out evening lunch here but the breakfast was lovely with plenty of selections. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Gifted a 3 course luncheon and we had a lovely Sunday roast lunch. Very friendly fast service and a lovely picturesque location. We were lucky to have glorious weather so made the most and Sat outside on their lovely patio to beautiful views over the valley.

Such a fabulous place! Take no notice of the AA 3 star... This should be a four. Clean and comfortable rooms. Great food. Not cheap but a good high standard. Could be a little more creative with breakfast menu. Location is great, beautiful Wales on pontypridds doorstep !! Oh and amazing that they are pet friendly as well.

Absolutely fabulous place for a wedding venue. Meals were outstanding. Had the most amazing day for my sons wedding
