The Queen's Hall
One of the best experiences during Edinburgh International Festival. The Queen’s Hall has very good classical chamber music programmers.

The Queen's Hall
The ticketing system is outrageously bad no humans are involved in the pricess and the new system is a retrograde step. I had no idea of my seat location until I got there and I couldn't see the horn section. The concert was wonderful and not to be missed. Hamish with saxes playing solos tons of guitarists, ace keyboards bass, drums percussion and a back up singer. Eddie Millar and Aki Remally took lead vocals on some numbers as a foil to Hamish's falsetto and the result was triumph. My poor photos don't do justice. You had to be there.

The Queen's Hall
Went to see a comedienne, so spent most of my laughing, but I did note that it's a brilliant theatre, excellent venue. Access and exit was really easy, location excellent. Lots of queues for the toilets during the interval, but they went down quickly. Only downside was that the seats (row J) are really uncomfortable to sit on for more than half an hour

The Queen's Hall
A great concert and friendly staffThe bar was well stocked and prices were as expected. But our seats were so uncomfortable hard wooden pews with a flimsy padding to sit on our backs ached after 30 minutes. And with us being up high the heat was rising making it more uncomfortable.

The Queen's Hall
Absolutely amazing venue. Small but perfectly sized, providing great viewing regardless of location. The sound quality was superb. It really allowed the crowd and the artist to enjoy the atmosphere. Seeing at artis like Ellie in such a relaxed manner was great. Will definitely return for another gig or show.Other points: spotlessly clean and toilets stocked.Staff were all lovely and polite. This gave the queen's hall a really nice atmosphere.Only complaint...... bought a plastic bottle of juice. The lid was removed and binned......im not sure why venues do this. If I wanted an open drink, I'd buy one or buy a glass of something.

The Queen's Hall
Worst concert hall I've been to in terms of the seat layout. If you are unlucky to sit on one kf the upper rows, you only see 1/4 of the stage. They should not charge money for these seats or at the very least warn the buyer upfront. Very disappointing .

The Queen's Hall
It’s a really cool venue, every seat has a good view. They have a great lineup! We saw Tide Lines and Karine Polwart. We even showed up to the box office 30min before the show and swapped our tickets for slightly closer seats. The staff was very helpful!

The Queen's Hall
I recently had the pleasure of attending the Karine Polwart concert at The Queen's Hall in Edinburgh, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The venue itself is stunning, with great acoustics and a comfortable seating layout that allows for an intimate and immersive concert experience. The concert itself was outstanding. The line-up of concerts on offer at TQH is top-notch, catering to a wide range of musical tastes. From classical recitals to contemporary bands, and if course great Folk music, there is always something exciting happening at The Queen's Hall. I have been lucky enough to see many shows there, and each one has been of exceptional quality - a testament to the venue's commitment to providing a diverse and high calibre program. The facilities at The Queen's Hall are excellent, with ample seating, clean and well-maintained bathrooms, and a well-stocked bar and cafe. It's a real treat to be able to grab a drink or a coffee before the show, and the friendly staff members only add to the wonderful atmosphere of the place.Speaking of the staff, I have to mention how positive and helpful they have always been. From the box office to the bar staff, everyone I have encountered at The Queen's Hall has been incredibly friendly and accommodating, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening.I can't recommend The Queen's Hall enough - it's a fantastic venue with a great atmosphere, amazing concerts, and all the amenities you could need for a perfect night out. I'll certainly be returning for many more wonderful experiences in the future.
