Amazing place but we did have to kill MANY flies and ladybugs on the first day we arrived.For the last days no problem with the flies/ladybugs, but we kept all windows and doors closed most of the time. I think the cleaner/manager should check before guests arrives.

We have just completed our second stay here. After a fantastic few days in one the yurts in May, we booked the Birdhouse for September. Another great experience.The setting is second to none and the property itself is clean, well maintained and has everything you need for a relaxing few days. From waking up among the trees to toasting marshmallows over the fire pit as the sun went down, everything met and exceeded our expectations. The addition of the hot tub is the icing on the cake.We'll definitely be back.

We had the most perfect stay here you could imagine! I booked this as a surprise trip for my girlfriend's birthday and also for a surprise proposal! Paul was a great help when booking and leaving some bits in the property for the engagement!We stayed in the treehouse called 'birdhouse'. The treehouse was amazing, the perfect size for two and of great quality. It's a brilliant design and the location is superb. It's super peaceful and the perfect place for a relaxing romantic weekend. The wood fired hot tub is also brilliant and was a lovely way to relax.It really is the perfect place to completely unwind and get away from city life!Only minor criticisms would be that it could do with a king size bed in the property but understand this is due to the available space and there also wasn't any shower gel available.Can certainly recommend a visit and we can't wait to return and stay in one of the other properties once we are married!

It was my first time glamping and I can safely say it was a very positive experience. The interior, the campsite, andtand location are all amazing. Perfect place to get away from the big city. I can confidently say that Paul has been handling the pandemic situation very well and follows all guidelines. He is also very responsive. Very happy with the stay and would definitely recommend to my friends.

I posted a lengthy review on trip advisor but it got taken down. It didn’t violate any rules, so i am baffled. Anyway, the yurt was beautiful. However when we got there, we spent our entire night killing flies. There was a fly infestation. We ended up having to sleep in the car. This is because the manager did not pick up the phone after a certain time, there was no night manager and the emergency number was a dud. It is a concerning situation had there been a life threatening emergency. In my entire life, I’ve never had to sleep in a car because the host was unable to accommodate us elsewhere. Horrific experience. Things do happen, but considering the cost and expected service, it was not managed at all. Lovely yurt, but the experience was an immense let down

I can't rate the Yurt Retreat enough. Although cliched to say, our stay was idyllic. All the really good points from camping, but without any of the bad parts. The owners are really friendly and they have thought of literally everything you would need plus a ton of luxury touches; log burners in the yurts, sheepskin rugs next to the beds, BBQ's provided and the facilities are second to none. The setting is frankly beautiful, quiet and full of nature. I will miss spending the evenings drinking a cider on the deck and watching the local hawks hunting over the fields.

We stayed in The Birdhouse and it was so beautifully done. It was very secluded with our own garden, bbq and fire pit. It was so so peaceful. The windows from the Birdhouse went straight out into the woods, laying in bed in the morning with that view was breathtaking. We made use of the hot tub, which was absolutely lovely, literally a bath in the woods. During our stay we did the 30min walk into Hinton St George, was a lovely, easy walk. Would definitely recommend the Birdhouse and hope to be back again.

We had an amazing time at The Yurt Retreat at the end of September and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and peaceful mini break. We stayed in The Hide and it was immaculate, comfortable and brilliantly decorated. Thank you for an amazing stay!

We had the most wonderful stay at The Yurt Retreat (specifically The Nest). We booked this for our Babymoon" and it did not disappoint. The interior is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for your stay. We cooked a meal one night and found everything we needed in the kitchen. There are lots of thoughtful touches like marshmallows and skewers for toasting on the fire pit
