I am just sad that I can't do it all over again!My wedding planner in the UK, Maria, was incredibly patient and helpful throughout the planning process. The process was effortless thanks to her.Serena took over when I got to Tuscany, and she was equally great.I knew right away that I was in good hands thanks to her warmth, kindness and fun personality.My wedding guests are still gushing about how great it was and how everything was handled so perfectly. We recently got back from our wedding in Cyprus. From start to finish Ionian weddings have been a lovely company to work with in planning our wedding. Our UK planner Helen was fantastic! Very kind, helpful, and was always there when I needed any questions answering. She was always clear with the information going through the planning process. Our planner in Cyprus, Kim was also very kind and helpful. I could not fault Ionian weddings for making our day very special. We were lucky to have in my opinion the best photographer! Absolutely amazing photos, capturing every moment and went above and beyond our expectations. It is just so special to look back on the memories of the day, as a bride the day feels a blur so to always have them photos makes me relive it all over again :) Enjoy some photos of our beautiful day and venue.

Where do I begin, I honestly cannot put into words to explain just how incredible my wedding was, it was a fairy tale dream come true. My whole wedding planning experience with Ionian weddings has been outstanding from the very first day up until my special day they had it all covered. Very professional with so much experience and fantastic advice and ideas. Literally took the stress out of it all, which made my journey so much more enjoyable. My UK on hand planner Maria has been impeccable, there wasn't anything that was too much trouble, and helped make our wedding a reality. Our Sorrento planner Antonella was another amazing lady, from the first venue viewings and again on our wedding week bringing all of our vision to life in such a friendly, caring manor. These ladies and the team work extremely hard and it shows. We recently got married in June 2023 at Relais Blu in Sorrento, Italy. When we initially decided to get married abroad, we researched the options and came across Ionian Weddings. It can be daunting putting your faith in a company to plan your wedding but we felt that it would be the least stressful way to plan a wedding in Italy and we are so glad we did! I honestly don't think we could have planned it on our own and Ionian Weddings made everything easy for us.We signed up for a package which included the venue, food, drinks packages, flowers, transport for guests (as the venue is outside of Sorrento), musician, limited photography and celebrant. We then added on some extras, for example extra photography, bridal hair, extra drinks and extra flowers. I liked that the prices were very transparent and we could easily budget. There was no pressure at all from Ionian Weddings to add on extras and we could have just gone with the basic package.Maria was our UK coordinator and she was so helpful answering our many questions and researching things for us if needed. We decided to go for a symbolic wedding to make things easier for us, but they offer a lot of support with the paperwork if you wish to get legally married in Italy. She keep us updated and the timeline was clear on when decisions and payments would need to be made.When we arrived in Italy, we met with Rosaria and Viola, who were the local coordinators. Rosaria is one of the most organised women I have ever met, and had a full itinerary documentation for us to refer to. She was present to welcome our guests for the pre wedding dinner and then on the wedding day itself, she made sure everything was going to plan and prompted us where needed. She took us to visit the florist as well as meet the hotel manager, and the restaurant manager before the wedding events started, so we felt fully confident that everything would go to plan, which is did.Our wedding day was truly perfect and I really think a lot of it is down to Ionian Weddings amazing staff. If anyone is thinking of getting married in Italy, Relais Blu is just stunning and I would 100% recommend.

All I can say is WOW! I have always dreamed of getting married in Italy but was apprehensive about how difficult it would be and whether it would be a viable option for us. After looking at a few different companies online I discovered Ionian Weddings and loved how everything was customisable to suit every budget and there wasn't a huge fee added to the bill.From the initial planning stages all the way to the big day they were always there answering questions and genuinely could not have been more helpful.At no point did I feel overwhelmed or stressed, everything was taken care of. I was on a few Facebook groups with brides who were also getting married in Sorrento and seeing their struggles with legal documents and dealing with Italian vendors I felt so relieved that I had chosen a company to help me through all of it. Maria was fabulous and thought of every detail.The team in Sorrento were unbelievable! Everything went so smooth and I could enjoy my day without having to think about a thing.It was genuinely the best day of our lives and so many of our guests said the same! The day was faultless and it was definitely down to the excellent organisation of Ionian, the Sorrento Planning Team and Villa Antiche Mura.The day exceeded all expectations and I would say if you're thinking of an abroad wedding, Ionian is a brilliant company to choose and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to all future brides!

Booking a wedding abroad requires you to have a lot of faith in your planners. Something I had my reservations about when I first booked it. However, Ionian weddings have given me a wedding that has surpassed and exceeded anything I had imagined.From start to finish, the process was made less stressful by the communication and information provided to me. You received an extensive booklet that allows you to view what is on offer and you simply fill in a form with any additions you would like on your big day. After that, the planners will go away and get you a revised price. It was always easy and done without stress. I ended up doing these forms 3 times due to COVID and each time it wasn’t too tasking.Furthermore, Ionian were very understanding and empathetic when it came to payment during COVID and they even delayed payment up to 6 weeks before the big day. When we made the decision to postpone, due to COVID, they offered us dates very quickly and if it wasn’t for their quick communication, we would have missed out on the date and time we wanted.Lindsay was our home wedding planner and she was quick to communicate,chased and answered the endless queries I had and supported us when documentation wasn’t approved. She sent through detailed itineraries for the day and even went on to arranging a private boat trip for some of the wedding party. She was fantastic!When we arrived in Italy, we met Viola. She was fantastic too! As soon as I landed, she messaged me. We met Viola twice and she showed us the suppliers, venues and showed us how the day would run. Viola was kind, caring and always greeted us with a smile. She really put me at ease! On the day, she was amazing. She was quick to respond if anything needed to be done and I cannot thank her enough. The wedding looked amazing and I was so impressed by everything.When you book an abroad wedding, you really don’t know what you are getting until you get there. It was impossible for us to visit the venues before hand because of Covid so we put our faith in Ionian. They delivered and made our day something truly amazing. Both venues (Cloisters and Castore) were amazing. The food was delicious and they really went above and beyond for us and our guests.I would 100% recommend them. Wow as the mother of the bride I have to give Ionian Weddings 5 stars. I literally have nothing negative to say about this fabulous company and I would highly recommend them - same for the bride and groom! I was so completely impressed by this wedding company - they sorted the transport, flowers, food, photographs, the most spectacular wedding venues and more.... They made my daughter's wedding in Sorrento truly special and utterly beautiful. Everything ran smoothly, they took care of everything and nothing was a problem. I got married in Italy in August 2023 and was overwhelmed by the brilliance of my wedding coordinators. Maria (my UK planner) was amazing at making sure all my queries were answered (she even called me on leave when our flights were cancelled).When we arrived in Italy, we were greeted by Viola who was superb. She was reassuring, considerate and totally focused on us having the day of our dreams. I don't think I will be able to adequately describe just how brilliant she was. Her attention to detail and meticulous planning made the day so utterly wonderful and she greatly reduced the anxiety. I cannot sing her praises highly enough. Nothing was too much trouble, nothing flummoxed her - she was just the perfect wedding coordinator and we are indebted to her.
