GXO - Waitrose RDC & Solvay RDC

Tipped here today, eventually.Can't understand any good reviews for here, must be one of the worst distribution centres I have ever had the misfortune of visiting, the yard is way too small, your lucky if you can get in a parking space without the shunter moving a trailer. Took over 4 hours today to tip, and in that time they tipped just 2 in front of me, previous times haven't been better either, in fact once I was nearly 7 hours sat there and then rejected.The place is miserable and slow, Waitrose should be embarrassed, it's horrid and I'm surprised that they have anything in there freezers the way this place carries on. Couldn't even get a cup of cold water from the vending machine, it just spat cold hot chocolate out, abysmal place.

For a big supermarket chain DC this has to be the smallest yard ever. Shunter knocked my mirrors off then denied it. CCTV amazingly didn't see it unfortunately for waitrose's the onboard cameras fitted to my truck recorded it

One star because I can’t go lower !!!Complete waste of life , only truck in the yard , been waiting 90 minutes seems to be a WAITrose trait , all totally incompetent

Can't get tipped they have special circumstances it's now 10.00 and one driver has been here since 06.00 and is still not tipped I stand no chance. Toilet broken and stinks what a s--t hole. Can't understand why there are any good reviewsBeen sent back 6months after first post, hasn't changed been here for 2 hours past booking in time! No explanation very unhelpful staff what a s--t hole Waitrose you give transport the worst name ever

What a dump of a place spent 5 1/2 hours today waiting to tip my frozen load no sorry no explanation nothing I hope I never step foot here again incompetent slow lazy staff .If im given a load for here I will refuse good riddance .

Be careful of the bus lane as you turn in to acre lane, also on exiting.

1 of the worse places to tip, make sure you have at least 3 hours left before you go in even if your on time.I had the pleasure this week, arrived 5 minutes before my booking slot and left 3 hours later, this is a regular occurrence in this dump, and don't expect joyful chitchat with goods in staff either if you feel the urge to encourage them to go quicker,absolutely no need for the 3 hours.GXO should know better also being in the haulage industry so know wonder the jobs on its knees.Sort yourselves out.
