7 of us have just attended a Soul/ Motown event at the Treasury. What a waste of time and money. We stayed for two hours and there wasn't a recognised Motown classic played . The sound system was rubbish and the D.J was far to young to play the tracks that we expected. There were plenty of youngsters with Heyday t.shirts mingling but doing what I haven't got a clue.We moved onto a club (Club 27) that knows what soul and motown is and completed our evening in the atmosphere we were expecting in the Treasury.. .I will never attend another Heyday Event. Absolute rubbish.

These events are an absolute blast. Great atmosphere and a fantastic time.
