Pirate Studios

Great and quick service! I had a problem with one of my CDJs. I was talked trough and asked to try different options to fix the issue but unfortunately it didn’t work. At the end I received a free time for the time that I have lost trying to fix the problem. Thank you for the help provided.

i have had two great experiences with the pirate studios support chats on whatsapp, i recently spoke to Winta who replied very quickly and was very polite, they helped me with changing my booking and i received credit instantly. and everytime i have been to pirate studios the rooms have been clean and none of the studio equipment has been damaged, i also have confidence in that if the equipment was damaged the sound engineers would either fix it or id get help moving to another room. i have spoken to the sound engineer in norwich and he was very kind and helped me when i needed a microphone. overall my experience has been great with pirate studios and i will definitely be using their studios more often.

Turns out you don’t have to sail the high seas to get the best waves. I had a blast at PIRATE and loved the atmosphere. The free energy gummies on arrival was a nice touch also

A mixed experience. the venue is easy to access, sound quality is reasonable and lighting is good. The first DJ studio we had both CDJs had broken cue buttons and one had a broken platter. After WhatsApping support - who were very quick to respond we were told to factory reset the CDJs, whilst I can appreciate the need to test this was clearly a hardware issue but no worries we were promptly moved to another studio where one cue button worked and the other mostly worked which was good enough ( credit to support who gave us an extra free hour for the inconvenience). However this room had a very tired mixer and had seen better days. But we got by and had a blast, the sound deadening is great and let's you blast music well.The bathrooms and venue itself aren't the cleanest, needs a repaint and the bathrooms an air freshener. It's unfortunate and I think it comes down to the fact that these locations are unstaffed which leads to this.Overall not bad for quick practice but you can't pull off anything too serious owing to the dodgy gear.P.s would love some studios with 3000's on siteEdit: in response to Pirate's reply I did reach out to their live chat who were excellent, my conversation with Alex was quite candid and friendly, it was good to hear what is being done to address these issues. I can't praise their support team enough- they are absolutely incredible and show how customer service should be done and I have added an extra star for this.

Awesome, only the low eq on deck 2 had come off the mixer, other than that everything was clean, it was easy to access with pins etc and the lights and studio itself was awesome. Would highly recommend as it is a relatively inexpensive way to get experience of a club set, will definitely book to go again!

An awesome place to practice and record. A little out of the way if you don't drive, especially when you have equipment to bring, and the keypads can be a little finicky.

We recorded our very first PodCast on Monday, we found the location great and the facilities great too. Thanks for the Free Coffee!!We have already booked our maximum slots and can't book anymore until the prices are added, which is a shame, we will definitely look to continue booking regular slots!Great setup and we sould AMAZING!!

A pain to sign up online when sending personal i.d.Almost every session our room has had pieces that are broken or missing so unfortunately I can't give the studios a higher star rating as I'm usually very generous.The team are very good at being in contact with you for any issues though.

Booking is very easy, and it is also easy to change a booking if necessary. The credit system works really well. We always use a standard rehearsal studio, and I use my own drum kit. I've noticed the kit that is in the studio is variably shabby, but useable. There is sound leakage between studios, so it can make rehearsing quieter songs difficult if there's a metal band in the corridor. The caretaker/cleaner is always helpful and pleasant. Saturday and Sunday mornings are a bit sticky and filthy, and the neighbours of the Norwich studio do get broken bottles, and litter on their property from late-night studio users.
