I purchased my second Ebike from Halfords (the first one got stolen) it has been my means of transport to and from work, and has been an enjoyable experience. How ever - low end E-bikes will have faults. So i took my Ebike to a fantastic gentleman for a full chain and cassette replacement from Norms bikes in smithfield market behind castle court - brilliant store and lovely guy and rplaced my stock cassette and chain with a much better and reasonably priced one. But.. My breaks and pads were being eaten through - as they are 'what you pay for' so as Norms Bikes has a very long waiting time, i decided on taking my Ebike to McConvey Cycles. From the moment i stepped foot into the store i was greeted with a warm welcome from staff, who made chain reaction and halfords look like rookies - with their knowledge. I had my breaks re alignmened, replaced and working beautifully! For a reasonable price and my bike (though i had booked it for one day) was available for a collection just a few hours later. My advice to anyone buying a low end bike - prepare to pay slightly more replacing parts in the future but definitely use these guys. I also have a speech impediment and staff were fully patient and understanding with me. Great store and staff.

I bought my bike 2nd hand around 12 months back and just wanted to check if everything is ok. I went to McConvey for service and have to say this was the best thing I could do! They spotted few small issues that I could never ever see! And that's why it is always good to go with your bike to someone who knows more than you. Mark did great job, he even came to me fix one small thing, because he lives nearby which I really like because he did not have to do that. I am just after 1hr test drive and I am happy with my bike, can not remember so smooth ride! Also love few tips from Mark. Of course I'll be back! Thank you.

Just got my first E-bike from McConveys. Conor was very helpful and took the time to see which bike would suit me best. Top class service! Would definitely recommend McConveys.

I have faith in these guys offering a good service if you're willing to pay for new parts. However, the value of cycling to me is the benefit to the environment through sustainability. It is disappointing to me that the staff are so willing to encourage an outright replacement of a bicycle that was brand new only a year ago, due to ordinary wear and tear. I have only ever been encouraged to buy a new bike when I go in for repairs here.

We have dealt with McConveys for quite a few years, buying bikes and accessories.They have always been more than helpful and a bit of thinking out of the box" once by Mark the excellent mechanic solved a problem with a manufacturing defect perfectly.He refused to be beaten and he wasn't. Top bloke with a great grasp of engineering.I have now ordered a new ebike from them and received the care and understanding that my needs require. I await its arrival.Lance is a gem and he and the rest of the team led by Boss Eamon are a credit to his company.In these days of general apathy towards customers McConveys are a pleasure to deal with and follow up any of my queries with courtesy and consideration.I have been around a bit in my 73 years and we would have no hesitation in recommending them. I have been cycling since 1959 and can say with honesty IME that they are the best at what they do and what they offer.Thank you guys.Sam."

Excellent and friendly customer service from Stephen and Lance, when I first called in i wasn't 100% sure what type of bike I wanted Road,Gravel,Cyclo-cross ....Stephen and Lance took me through the difference in these three and the type of cycling I do/was looking to do....i went for the Gravel and advised all the way through my purchase on types of shoes/clips/tubeless tyres....was fitted for seating and comfortability leg length and its clear to see that the guys take the approach of The Customer Comes First" ....nothing was too much trouble at all ...i went in not knowing a lot and came out knowing a lot more about bike set up etc

What an educational fun experience at mcConvey Cycles, professional but relaxed bike fit with Lance. Felt at ease and nothing was too much trouble, thanks for everything definitely be a regular visit to the store for all my cycling needs.

Served by Lance and Eamon. Great experience from start to finish. Really friendly and knowledgeable bunch. Felt well looked after. The staff took plenty of time to talk me through through my options and help me decide what I needed presale. Then again to set me up on the bike when it was assembled. Would definitely recommend and will definitely use in the future. Thank you
