We have been with these vets for many years now, and they’ve treated everything from our smallest rodents to our biggest dogs. Each has been treated with respect and care.Anything they haven’t treated before (my rodents like to make things difficult!) they have researched and taken on board information I’ve given them. We’ve never had to wait long for appointments, for standard things or surgeries.

The Veterinary Center in Henley-On-Thames are by far the best vets we have been to. They have been amazing with my cat who had a stroke last year and my puppy loves coming to visit! They are all so caring and friendly and really do have compassion and love for the animals in their care. Thank you Henley Vets for your support!

If you can go elsewhere for your vets, please do. This veterinary clinic is far too full and they don’t treat emergency medical needs or do quick appointments when you really need them. They’re always busy and their opening hours are too short. A beloved cat of our family didn’t get the treatment it needed in time and it passed away, because they just couldn’t fit them in for a sooner appointment.

We have been taking our pets to Fiona and Helen at Henley Vets for over 20 years, covering three house moves and at least the same number of generations of animals. We have always had the greatest and kindest of care from these lovely people, from when we bought our 8-week old bunnies for their first checkup to helping 11-year-old Edward with his final goodbye. These are real people who genuinely care for the animals in their charge, and we now wouldn't think of going anywhere else.

My dog went to Henley vets just before Christmas for a repeat prescription. Helen checked him over and found he had an enlarged spleen. She took him in straight away & did an ultrasound scan & found he had a mass. He was booked in to have it removed the next day. All the staff there were so caring towards us & one of the receptionists even hugged me as she was leaving. My boy came home the day after his op and has been great ever since. While he was in they kept us informed how he was doing.I cannot praise these vets highly enough & wish we had swapped to them sooner.

Fantastic vets: caring, friendly and lots of knowledge. Our cats and dog have always been well looked after, often at short notice. Great service which keeps on improving, with app chats and online booking recently added.

Shay and Noemi are wonderful human beings and with a great passion for animals and their owners. I cannot recommend their services highly enough! Out of all the vets myself and my partner have been to over the years, they have provided us with the best advise and service.

I have been with Henley vets (and their branch in Twyford) for a long time now and have no intention whatsoever of changing. The staff are all amazing - welcoming, friendly and supportive - from the ladies on Reception right through to the Vets. I have always taken my cats and bunnies there and Helen Hanley in particular has been amazing with them. My bunny Harvey is unfortunately no longer with us but Helen went above and beyond ensuring that, despite all his medical issues, he had a long and happy life. I know all my fur babies will get excellent and empathic treatment at Henley vets and they also put up with me and my bunny obsession! They are all great!

We have used Henley Vets for years. Very happy with their service and the extra mile they go. We had a very poorly dog a few years ago, approaching end of life. I called then on a late Saturday night, got Fiona, the owner, who looked up the records and advised me over the phone how to medicate our very poorly dog. He was settled and lived comfortably for three more months. They came to our house to euthanase him in our garden. Much better than a sterile surgery. Great service, and they wont encourage unnecessary tests.

They were efficient and COVID safe, and I will keep using them because they are convenient. However, I wasn't too impressed that I booked vaccinations for my puppy - which they did - and was also told, and charged for, a check up and nail clipping without me asking them to do either. Makes me a little uncertain of handing over my puppy again without really knowing that they'll do what I've asked them to do. However, she came back calm so I think they handled her safelyUPDATE: I have moved to the vets in Sonning Common and find them much better! My dog seems less nervous here, you can go inside (goodbye ridiculous faff of being made to wait/stay in the carpark) and they are friendly and fair. Wouldn't ever go back to Henley Vets.
